The dog sitters are great but Pawshake are awful
The dog sitters are great, but the way Pawshake operate is far from perfect. I was about to book a sitter. We'd been talking and arranged a visit so she could meet my dogs. We exchanged numbers (as you naturally would) and I ended up having to cancel last minute, which I did over the phone. Pawshake accused the sitter of trying to avoid paying their booking fee, suspended her profile and extorted the money from me for the booking in order for her profile to be reinstated! A horrible way to do business!

Hi Debbie Morris, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. You arranged a cash payment for a service, which is a direct contravention of our terms and conditions of use and a fraudulent use of our site. You told your sitter “I will leave cash on the table for you. How much should I leave?” Your sitter also acknowledged to Pawshake that they agreed to the cash payment. We state these terms of use quite clearly at all stages of the booking process and the consequences for breaking these terms. We are very sorry, but Pawshake has no choice but to suspend both yours and your sitters profiles. Kind Regards Jack Pawshake Support
