Very straight forward website to use, booking and payment were easy although might be nice to allow customers to pay a percentage of the costs at time of booking rather than the whole amount. It was the first time we left our dog to a sitter and Pawshake was a great site to view who is available in the area and to see who might suit us best. We were extremely happy with the sitter and the pawshake service.

We took a cruise and selected Pawshake to care for our 2 dogs (Bernese Mtn Dog, and a 15 month old Shepard poodle mix.) The sitter was professional and obviously a dog lover, she exercised fed and cuddled our 2 “Boys” and sent us daily updates including pictures. She brought them special treats. She played with them using the dog’s favourite toys. It gave us peace of mind that our dogs were well cared for and our house safe (sitters name was Sophie and we would recommend her to anyone in the Blainville, Quebec area) Gord

When my daughter was suffering from illness i am pleased Tracy her dog was well taken care of in her absense.

de oppas was op een voorgaand gesprek al heel sympathiek, toonde welke honden ze bijhield, de dag voor de opvang elkaar gezien en heel vriendelijk tegen mij en in omgang met mijn Snowy. Joanna was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De oppas kwam keurig haar afspraken na. Zij kon goed omgaan met de poes en zij heeft ons goed op de hoogte gehouden met appjes en foto’s. Bij terugkomst zag ons huis er keurig uit.

Every cat sitter so far has been perfectly adequate. No complaints. Certainly safe.

Overall, I'm quite happy. The business itself works well, without any glitches. The only problem I've had is that, unless you live smack in the middle of a large city or town, you will spend a lot of time emailing sitters just to get back "Sorry, you're too far away." even though they may only be 4 miles away. A lot of sitters are also very bad at updating their calendars, so you will also get a lot of "Sorry, I'm booked that day." despite their calendar showing that they are available. However, when finally getting a sitter, they have all been friendly and professional and I haven't felt uneasy leaving any of them with my dog.
