Auto-renew scam and refuse to help
Follow up edit: After 3 emails and 2 negative public reviews, they did finally refund me (after reiterating that I should’ve seen the fine print better). Original review: This company is despicable. I make just $30K/year working with special needs children. They clearly advertised a one-time fee of $15 for a training plan in January ‘26. I was sent no receipt, no confirmation, no documentation at all that I signed up for a recurring charge (because I didn’t) and yet a month later they charged my card another $39. This seems to be their business model bc I’m not the only person complaining about this- look at their App Store reviews. I lost count of how many reviews say “it only said $15 and they refuse to refund me”. The developer’s response is always some form of “too bad, it’s your own fault.” They’re clearly not in the business of being honest but rather for tricking people into a $40/month recurring charge. I’ve reached out to customer service 3 times and their responses seem to be a chat bot programmed to tell customers “We are keeping your money no matter what”. I opened the app like two times and they feel they deserve to keep $55 from me?! So sad when companies refuse to do the right thing. I got scammed.
