Poor Quality. Expensive, Unfavorable Customer Renewal Policies

I wasn’t keen on the training videos. The conceptual instructions are lengthy and there weren’t many practical exercises in the first several videos. All of the videos are overdubbed which gives them a weird feel. As other reviewers pointed out, despite the company’s claim that the renewal policy is clear, it isn’t clear that the subscriber will receive zero communication of renewal, that the renewal fee is more than double the initial fee, that you need to email the company to unsubscribe (there’s no other way to unsubscribe), and their stated refund policy is that you must meet strict criteria of following the training regime for seven days and proving it with video of dog training to qualify. It’s absurd and discourages both cancellation and refund. Edit addition: I already corresponded with PawChamp before writing this review and they unambiguously declined my request for a refund. PawChamp also requested identifying information via this site so they can correspond. I provided identifying information and they’ve made no attempt to contact me since then. Their response implies they’ve had no or inadequate opportunity to ensure my satisfaction, which could not be further from the truth. Two additional points: One: PawChamp allocates resources to respond to all negative reviews on here within hours of posting yet chooses not to send automatic renewal notice reminders, which could be done by a bot. That’s a deliberate choice to maximize renewal from people who didn’t know it would renew, forgot, or whatever. Two: PawChamp does not allow you to unsubscribe the same way you subscribe. You can subscribe with an online form but must email and correspond to unsubscribe. Procedures like these are why California continues to update its Automatic Renewal Law. Edit addition to their edit: I provided an email relay which they can email. I also provided my full name through TrustPilot. They can easily identify and contact me. More importantly, as said above, I’ve already corresponded several times with their customer care representative, Sophie.
