I ordered a pair of Paul Evans Caine bit loafers, since I had a pair from about 4-5 years ago that had held up really well. Lo and behold, I get a pair of poorly made shoes that appear to be made with FAKE LEATHER. All I know is, there is a markedly different quality between then and now. I’m kinda glad I actually received them, instead of many others who haven’t. Go buy from Beckett Simonon and get your moneys worth.

If I could No Star, I would. Paul Evan’s is the wordt store I have ever ordered from. It’s been 15 months and I still have not received my shoes. I have emailed them several times last year 2024 and received a reply that the shoes were being made in Italy; it’s been more than a year. I sent several emails; with No reply. Don’t order from this company.

Do NOT order anything from this company. It has been 10 months and I have not received the shoes I ordered for my wedding. Despite multiple email exchanges, they have not provided any shipping details and continually blame import delays. How are there import delays when you can't provide shipping details?! And when a refund is requested, they refer to their policy of after 30 days, they can only offer partial refund with store credit of $100 PER SHOE! How does that make any sense? Per shoe?! Shenanigans. This is a poorly run and dishonest company with questionable and unethical business practices. I've requested a chargeback via the disputes process with my credit card company and am asking them to put this company on their blacklist preventing future buyers from using their payment processing for purchase from this company. No wonder their store in NYC closed down. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from them.

Please becarful. Paul Evans is not honest with clients. When you preorder the shoes. After take more then 6 months. You never know by when you should receive the shoes. When you tried to contact them and get refund They just said because their policy they will not return all the money and just offer people like gift card. Some times you will not get the money. Looks like put clients to holds and when we want to cancel they place stumble blocks

Ordered $400 shoes and never received them. No call or email from them so I reached out via email (they have no phone number published. Hmmm I wonder why that is). The email response said the shoes were out of stock and they couldn't give me a timeline so I requested a refund naturally. Crickets for weeks....I've now emailed them 3-4 times with zero response so now after reading their online reviews it all makes sense. My credit card company just credited my account and will now go after Paul Evans. BUYER BEWARE.

Beware! Ordered shoes in December 2022 for $400, they did acknowledge they needed to 'build' them, and would take a few months. Never received them and it is over 10 months later. They will not respond to customer service. Will have to get refund through my credit card. Total scam, read BBB and other reviews BEWARE!!

Last year August 2022, ordered a merchandise worth around USD 800$ and was told to pay around USD 250$ for an international speed delivery which was supposedly to be shipped in 4-6 months. Due to the unreasonable and suspicious retailing practice, I was upset and had a back and forth angry email correspondence with PE. The lack of customer complaints handling skills and emotional immaturity, I suspect the person handling the email on the other side was possibly a decision maker of the company. I was told the shipment would be cancelled and my money refunded. Am still waiting for almost 10 months from my initial order and haven’t got the product or the refund. And now, no one responds to my email anymore and there’s no direct customer service hotline. I didn’t expect such a cheap audacity and mismanagement from a brand like PE.
