NO SUPPORT? Haven't received support communication for 7 days now. I can vouch for JM he helped me get my channel monetized years ago in only a couple of weeks. But the support is not there right now. Im attempting to get back into the course i was already in but not receiving any help. Thank you to the passive channels team for responding to this review once you do. EDIT TEAM HAS REACHED OUT AND MADE THINGS RIGHT

Working with Teagin Rich at Passive Channels
Working with Teagin Rich at Passive Channels has been a game changer for my YouTube channel. What I appreciate most about Teagin is that his advice is practical, specific, and focused on the small changes that actually move the needle.
When I started working with him, my videos were getting hundreds of views. By implementing the adjustments and strategies Teagin recommended, I’ve now had a video surpass 80,000 views in less than 24 hours.
The biggest takeaway for me is that it wasn’t about completely reinventing my channel. Teagin helped me recognize the details I was overlooking and showed me where relatively small changes could make a massive difference in performance.
He understands YouTube, but more importantly, he knows how to look at your specific channel, identify what’s holding it back, and give you actionable direction instead of generic advice.
If you’re serious about growing a YouTube channel and want a coach who can help you understand what actually moves the needle, I highly recommend Teagin. The results speak for themselves.

Wondering about your YouTube journey?
I wanted to write this review answering the exact questions I had about 3 months ago before joining.
1. Will it be easy and smooth? If I pay for this program, will they do everything for me?
That is a big, fat NO. If you are looking for passive, push-button work where someone else builds your channel for you, this program is not for you. They give you the roadmap, but you have to do the driving.
2. Why should I join this program? Is it actually worth it?
It lays out the complete blueprint for your YouTube journey from A to Z. The training modules cover everything: setting up your channel, masterclass-level video creation (scripting, thumbnails, voiceovers), and even the business side, like hiring and interviewing editors. It eliminates the guesswork of what to do next.
3. Is watching the course videos alone enough to succeed?
To a point, yes. The information is solid. But building a channel can easily feel overwhelming, and learning in isolation is tough. The best part is that you don’t have to struggle alone. There are three amazing coaches available whenever you hit a wall. Even if you have zero idea what niche to pick, they work with you directly until you find the right fit.
4. How often can you get on coaching calls?
I book calls so frequently that the coaches probably see me in their sleep! Every time I publish a video, I study the analytics, audience retention, CTR, impressions, and packaging. I do my homework first using AI, Google, and the community. Then, I bring my data to the 1-on-1 calls to test my theories with the coaches and see if my conclusions are right or totally off the mark. Their feedback saves me months of wasted time.
5. How hard is it to understand YouTube analytics?
It takes practice, but learning from people who have already mastered it accelerates everything. There were times I thought a video was a masterpiece, only for it to flatline at 200 views. In the past, I’d feel defeated. Now, with the coaches' guidance, I look at the data because the numbers never lie. Once you know how to read the graphs, you know exactly what to fix on the next upload.
6. Will I get monetized fast?
Unless you buy a pre-monetized channel, overnight success isn't realistic. You have to trust the process, learn the skill, and let the algorithm find your audience.
7. Am I monetized after 2.5 months?
Not yet. And that’s completely fine. Across just 12 videos, I have accumulated over 40,000 views, 3,000 watch hours, and 130+ subscribers. For an organic channel starting from zero in under 90 days, that is massive momentum.
8. Is it easy and enjoyable?
It’s not effortless, but it is extremely rewarding. I’ve gone from videos stuck at 200 views to hitting 30,000 views on a single upload alone and the best feeling is actually understanding why it blew up. I write my own titles and scripts, use AI voiceovers, and manage one freelance video editor. Learning the craft and absorbing feedback like a sponge makes this genuinely fun.
This community and coaching team are the most supportive people I’ve encountered. They don’t leave you behind; they troubleshoot right alongside you.
I’ll update this review once I cross the monetization finish line with exact numbers on what the channel earns!

Insight, expertise, and recommendations drawn from experience
The information and infrastructure to access it are really straightforward. Beyond the foundational information, the real power of the offering comes from the coaches. Coach Teagin has probably saved me 2-3 weeks worth of work in the first month alone. Insight, expertise, and recommendations drawn from experience are where the value lies. I've been able to execute the strategies with the feedback and guidance provided by the coaches and can't recommend them highly enough.

Great Session - Remain Disciplined and Avoid "I Got This"
The information and videos were straightforward and easy to understand. Jordan and the team dedicated significant time and effort to developing this introductory experience. I now have a clearer understanding of the basics of YouTube video creation—beyond just aiming for "going viral." I had an idea of how YouTube functions, but these videos motivated me to try out the techniques and support offered. I need to stay disciplined and avoid thinking, "I got this," instead following the steps carefully. Overall, I consider this a 5-star experience.

Coachings are great!!!
Both YouTube coaches are great, and I’ve had a very positive experience working with them. I’ve now been working with Teagin on a weekly basis, and he has been incredibly helpful throughout the process.
Teagin is fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to really understand the problem.
What I appreciate most is how deeply he looks into any obstacle I’m facing and works with me to find practical solutions.
He consistently provides valuable information, clear feedback, and useful strategies that I can actually apply to my channel. He is very easy to work with, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping me improve and move forward.
I’m very happy with the coaching experience overall, and I would definitely recommend both coaches. Working with Teagin on a weekly basis has been especially valuable for keeping me focused, solving problems quickly, and continuing to improve my YouTube channel.
**10/10 experience — highly recommended!**

Didn't find the course helpful and…
Didn't find the course helpful and constantly ran into road blocks with implementation. I asked plenty of questions in the discord. I didn't get a lot of answers. Coaching calls helped a little. Asked for a refund 4 months in and was told I needed to wait the entire 6 months. At the end of the 6 months they still refused.
Response from passivechannels.comJul 31, 2026
It's Jordan Mackey the owner of Passive Channels here. I made a video showing Ian's journey in our program and disputing some of the things he said:
Copy and paste this into your browser: https://vimeo.com/1214469643/3dad82d27c?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci
For those of you who don't want to watch the video, here's the main points:
1) We enroll 40 - 50 clients a month and have only had 2 bad reviews ever, with the first occurring 3 years ago. This is our first bad review in 3 years (which I'm very proud of)
This client, Ian, actually offered to give us a GOOD REVIEW in exchange for a refund. I declined because he didn't meet the refund requirements so he chose to leave us a bad review instead in hopes that it would make me change my mind. Typically a real one star experience would deserve a one star review regardless.
2) We did not tell him he needed to "wait the entire 6 months" we simply told him he needed to finish the refund requirements that he agreed to before he joined.
We read this to him on the Zoom before he joined (because I require my team to read this off to every prospective client instead of just hiding it in the contract because I'm super up-front) and it was also in his contract. The requirements were as follows:
a) Post 50 videos to your channel within 6 months (I have actually LOWERED this since Ian joined to make this even easier for you all to reach)
b) Do 5 coaching calls within 6 months (easy to do since you can do them daily)
c) Request a refund WITHIN 6 months
So that is false. We didn't ask him to wait 6 months, we asked him to finish the requirements he agreed to before he joined.
He only posted 18 videos and did 3 coaching calls in the entire 6 months that he was here.
3) He said he "constantly ran into road blocks."
When he first joined we asked him to provide us the niche research document we give to every client in the course so we could thoroughly review it. We didn't hear from him for 3 whole months.
When he finally did respond he said that he had trouble hiring a team and then gave up and went back to real estate.
Once we heard that, we helped him hire a team in less than 2 weeks.
This is literally the only road block he's EVER brought up to us (which you can see in the video I linked above.) We've helped thousands of clients with tons of road blocks, but we can't help a client who doesn't communicate with us at all.
Then he started posting videos and actually got 4,000 views in his 4th video and 1,900 views in his 9th video. These are pretty good metrics for a brand new channel starting from scratch.
4) He said he asked plenty of question in Discord and didn't get a lot of answers.
In the video I linked above I show all the answers we gave. Beyond that, he did 3 one-on-one Zoom coaching calls at 45 minutes a piece. He could have done one daily if he wanted to, but just chose not to communicate with us instead.
Twice in his Discord he stated that his metrics had improved after talking with the coaches on the coaching calls. This proves that they were beneficial, it's just that he only chose to do that 3 times in the span of an entire 6 months.
This client asked for a refund after 3 months without posting a single video because he realized he wasn't using the program or putting in any effort. It costs me a lot of money to enroll a client and unfortunately I'm not willing to lose money giving people free information. He then offered a GOOD REVIEW and said he appreciated the coaches help, but once I declined he left a bad review instead in hopes that I'd refund him if he did. I'm a very up front person, I will always hold up my end of every agreement I make and all I ask is that whoever joins us does the same because I'm putting up my own personal money every time I enroll a client and I expect any client to hold up to their end of their agreement when I'm putting my own personal money on the line to help you.

Making a difference
You are giving people to make a difference in someone else's day while making passive income. It takes a special person to share this kind of information and I appreciate you for that. Thank you
