Part Time PilotReviews of parttimepilot.com

Part time pilot is a great ground school course. Everything is neatly organized in sections that make sense. The way Nick presents the lesson is amazing. He has podcasts/audio clips to listen to the lessons on the go, he has videos were he goes in detail and provides plenty of visuals to learn from. I would recommend this course.

I didn't know I needed Part Time Pilot until I signed up. I'm a learner by heart and I truly appreciate that Nick has implemented three (3) ways to learn the material, which is followed up with a quiz to test that you are not only paying attention, but also comprehending. I've seen great scores on the written and I hope to be added to the bunch that have passed! Also, if you need to reach out to him, you don't have to call a 1800 number and sit on hold for 45minutes. He's an actual person and he cares about our success.

I Currently have a foreign PPL, However I Ieft aviation for a almost a year because personal problems. Now I am moving to the United Sates and looking forward to continue with aviation as a career, and I have been looking for the best online ground school to refresh my memory and of course learn new things, I opted for Part time Pilot, and It has been a wonderful experience so far. The best thing personally is the Instructor takes time to personally respond questions and solve doubts. For the price I think is the best option right now, However I think lessons could be more dynamic, upgrading videos with 3D tools or real life examples captured on video

Great online ground school for the modern/ teen pilot. I love that nick is very involved social media- instagram, Facebook, tik tok… Weekly live zoom sessions are a great bonus.

I have looked at several online ground schools and after much internal debate I chose Part Time Pilot. What first got my attention was the value of this program compared to others, so much higher. Second was Nick's approach, he offers the material in many different formats - audio, written, visual and live sessions. I have taken that same approach and incorporated other tools into my training, ie FAA handbooks that can be downloaded for free, other aviation training videos that can be found on YouTube and other aviation podcast. The customer service has been outstanding, what few issue that I have had have been answer quickly by Nick. Once Nick gets his graphics and animations up to standard, I will be happy to return and give him all 5-stars. Thanks Nick

Good overall ground school. I wish it referenced content from the various books.

Recommended After thinking about doing it for four years I'm finally starting to work on getting my pilot certs. I found Part Time Pilot after looking around on Google for ground schools, and I was drawn to the personal, connected feel of the program. Nick put this program together himself, and is personally available by email anytime I need a question answered. Although I haven't needed to use that perk too often (I learn best by studying myself), it's great to know that I have the help available. The quality of the course is great, although I don't have experience with any others that I can compare it to. Right now I'm about 80% done with the classroom portion of the course, and I'm shooting to take my written test in three weeks. I've already recommended this program to one other person I know, and would choose this school again if I had to.

This seems like one of the best online ground school programs you can use. All the things I'm considering when choosing one keeping pointing me back in the direction of Part Time Pilot, and the reviews I've heard from people in my local Facebook aviation group say that the founder is very enthusiast about helping us understand every single concept. He said the material is perhaps a bit too detailed sometimes, but, would you rather it be the opposite? Nope. Also that there is room for improvement in the quality and quantity of comprehensive simulations/animations/demonstrations. But, the owner said he is actively searching for solutions for this area of criticism.
