We purchased a gold-plated engagement ring from Parts of Four expecting a luxury-quality piece with reasonable durability. After only a few months of normal wear, the plating started wearing off and exposing the silver-colored base metal underneath. When we contacted the brand, we were repeatedly told this was “completely normal” and that even thicker plating would wear again within months because of the ring’s design and the brand’s “evolving aesthetic.” We were also advised to pay for replating ourselves. Only later during the complaint process did we learn that the legal entity behind the brand is registered in Hong Kong, despite the strong European / French boutique positioning of the brand. What disappointed us most was not just the issue itself, but the lack of clear disclosure before purchase regarding the expected durability of the finish, especially for jewelry sold at this price level and marketed as luxury/artisan work. After attempting to resolve the matter politely and formally, communication eventually stopped entirely, forcing us to escalate the case through consumer protection channels. The designs are undeniably unique and artistic, but buyers should be aware that the practical durability and after-sales support may not match the luxury image presented by the brand.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Parts of Four. The brand presents itself as a niche luxury jewelry house with a strong French / European boutique image, however after encountering a product issue and attempting to make a formal complaint, I discovered that the operating legal entity is registered in Hong Kong. The gold plating on my engagement ring began visibly wearing off after only 2–3 months of normal daily use, exposing the base metal underneath. During the complaint process, I was told this was “totally normal” and was advised to pay for replating myself. What was most disappointing was not only the durability issue itself, but the lack of transparency before purchase regarding how quickly the finish could wear, especially for a ring marketed and priced as luxury jewelry. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue amicably, including a formal complaint, communication eventually stopped entirely. I understand and appreciate artistic jewelry and unconventional aesthetics, but in my opinion luxury positioning should also come with transparency, durability expectations, and professional customer care.

In sorry to say I have to write a one start review I bought the systema ring with three tanzenites, after a month one of the stones fell out , I spoke to the customer services who seemed quite reluctant to do this under warranty luckily I found the stone and repair it myself, it is now 10 months later all three stones and no longer in the ring. One lost and I was able to pull the other two out very easily I will repair the ring myself with some copper clay as I cannot be dealing with the hassle of their customer services

Starting with the main issue - I ordered a ring, I didn't really like what I've got for 500+ EUR. They were nice enough to offer to replace the stone for a higher quality one. But It still didn't fit me well so I asked to exchange it for a simpler ring and refund the difference. (I'm still within 14 day return window) I was refused, because they have some paragraph on their site that says they only do refunds "in store credit" so instead of giving you the money back, they trap it on their site and force you to spend only there. This a scam and it is illegal in the entirety of EU. EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU applies to here. It is not my concern if you claim that it's made "on order". This is normal goods and rules stay the same. To make it crystal clear: THERE WAS NO CUSTOMIZATION OR ENGRAVINGS. I picked a ring, i picked a size and pressed "Order". They went quiet after I refused such terms. Additionally as others pointed out, that 500+ Eur ring was just not worth it. The design is cool, but the execution and materials/texture are underwhelming. I have reported this incident to both German Verbraucherzentrale and French SignalConso. I recommend you do the same if they try to scam you.

Do not buy from this company. Bought a supposedly gold plated chocker from them and within three weeks the gold plating came off. It's a cool design but they don't use the materials they say they use. Really not worth your money.

Be careful they sell one silver earrings for 340€ which is worth 29€ in retail. Even if you go to a goldsmith and tell him to make you that earring you would pay maximum of 100€ for a costum made piece. They only use Diamonds of the worst quality which aren’t worth 1/5 of what they sell them.
