Technical Review – Poor Product Quality and Reliability
The quality and reliability of Parkside products have been extremely disappointing. The petrol leaf blower failed after approximately 15 minutes of use. It was very difficult to start and struggled to maintain a stable idle. After warming up, while operating below full power, it began to lose power and eventually stopped. Since then, it has been impossible to start again. A few months earlier, I purchased a garden hose reel, which also proved to be of very poor quality. The connection required additional sealing tape to prevent leaks, the hose itself was of extremely poor quality, and the handle broke after only a few uses. Both products demonstrate serious shortcomings in manufacturing quality, durability, and reliability. Products should be fit for their intended purpose and withstand normal use, which these items clearly failed to do. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Parkside products and will not purchase this brand again. Refund was easy but it shouldn't be the target!
