I'm sure the seat could be of tremendous help BUT.....
I'm sure the seat could be of tremendous help to heavier people. .However it requires that you set it to a weight of the person using it. My Mom weighs 125 lbs and the lowest setting is 200 lbs. Her weight is not heavy enough to lower the seat. not only that,but it is extremely difficult to see the settings and change it, its like trying to open a clam with your fingernails.

In reviewing your order, I noticed that you ordered the wrong size on the product. There are 2 different sizes available. The smaller size has a weight capacity of 95-220 lbs which should work perfectly for your Mom. Please call our Customer Service department at 888-746-2107 and we would be happy to set up a return and place a replacement order for you.

Great servise and a great team
I had a difficult time when ordering because of the unavailability of the items I needed, but the staff were phenomenal and were able to help and try their best to complete my order.
