I wondered if I was in perimenopause…
I wondered if I was in perimenopause and my gyno's office (at the time) took my FSH levels and from that, they said I was not in perimenopause. I believed them because this was before I started reading what I could everyday for months to understand what was happening to me. I went to Pandia and was told I wasn't in perimenopause since I still had regular periods. INCORRECT, you can still have regular periods and be in perimenopause. I pushed back and another doctor at Pandia corrected the first one and said that it IS possible but I'm baffled that the first statement was even made. And this company is supposed to serve women? I went elsewhere and finally got the HRT I needed. It has taken me 2 1/2 years. Well, this goes to show how much women have to advocate for our health and what we have to go through for what we need. I'm glad companies supporting women's health are cropping up, but my experience with Pandia was disappointing.
