Paint with NumberReviews of paintwithnumber.com

I was told I would receive my paint by numbers by the 22nd of Feb. It has not been delivered yet. I was also unaware the package was coming from China. If I would have known that I would have found another company that’s closer.

Ordered on the 6th it’s the 23 when I checked the tracking it was in Hong Kong …….. their 7-14 days shipping is complete bull

The actual colors were not even close to what was submitted as photo; looked like it was all inverted. My hair was the same color as my skin. Just wasn’t what I expected and was kind of a waste of money.

Shipping took much longer than was indicated on the website, which was too bad because this was intended as a gift. The packaging was terrible. And the image/canvas itself is awful. It's intended to be a picture of two hands, and one of them is blindingly white--which is *not* what was in the original picture. There's a black and white guide, but nothing to indicate what the image would look like painted. Most of the paint tubs are half empty, leaving me with concerns about having enough paint to finish--I would hate to have to wait another three weeks to get more. Overall, not a good experience.

I waited so long to receive my order and when i received it, a painting color was missing. Very disappointed. Missing color #217

I purchased this item as a gift and upon painting a few colours, we realized some colours of the real picture that I sent didn’t match up with some of the paint number colours that they sent. (For example white with a tone of red equals dark brown somehow). Although this is a great gift idea for anyone don’t get me wrong. It just sucks when you think you’re going to get something as described and it ends up being different (especially when it is a gift).

Less than happy and a 2 out of 5 stars is accurate. To start; and to not knock “Paint By Numbers” for this but they make it seem like the product would be coming from either the States or Canada but you find out a week later after it ships their facilities are actually in China. The 7-14 business days turned out to be around a month maybe more. When it finally arrived it was creased and bent in the middle obviously from its long journey to Canada. Packaging was not adequate and resembled the cardboard you get after your done your paper towel roll. I could see the numbers through the paint even after going over it twice. The paint also wouldn’t go on evenly so it made the picture look weird. I would say I have above average artistic and painting skills and found the finishing result (Realistic 42 colours) to be less than satisfying. To add to this 4-42 Colours were semi-dry paint which when used on the canvas came out clumpy and hard to spread. The Brushes were cheap which I expected but I used the tiniest brush for the impossibly small areas and eventually the brush hairs started to fall out half way through my project so I resorted to using my own personal paint brushes which worked a lot better. I would recommend if anyone wants to try this to not do the realistic painting and make sure the photo you send them is a good colour quality photo because if the lighting is off on it, it really ruins the painting. I do like the concept but surely there needs to be some improvements. I’d pay $10 more for what I got if the end result had been better but sadly as of right now other companies doing similar things are doing a better job. I was excited to give this as a gift to my mom for Christmas but it showed up late and I don’t expect it to be hung up on her wall. I’d ask for my money back but It would probably take a month and at $52.00 approx I would rather just take it as a lesson learned.

Took an entire month to get here was past for Christmas when it said at most two weeks and the refused to refund any of it including just the shipping. The painting was fine customer service and shipping was not
