We had a wonderful road trip to beautiful Burlington, Vermont on Lake Champlain. Pack Up & Go made everything so friendly and easy! The hotel was great, the restaurants we went to were terrific, the ABBA show we saw was so much fun, and everyone we met was gracious and helplful! I don't think we would have gone to Burlington if we hadn't signed onto Pack Up & Go. Of course, the surprise element made it even more fun! I've told so many people about this company! There's only one small suggestion I would make. When we went to the first restaurant, we said we had a reservation and they said they didn't have it. The only one they had was for Pack & Go. If the hostess had not said that, we wouldn't have known the reservation was for us. I would suggest making all reservations under the client's name. That's all. Other than that, this is a terrific service! Thank you so much!

Surprise girls trip to Denver!
Another wonderful surprise trip from pack up and go. First time was 5 years ago to Philly and this time to Denver. Super cute hotel with lots of food and drink options inside or just steps away. Lots of people alking around the area outside since close to union station and the Rockies stadium. Easy area to get to from the airport using the train.
Great restaurant reservations and suggestions. Loved the group hiking exploring trip that was booked. The art museum was fabulous and huge. Great job tailoring the trip to our survey. Can’t wait to do another trip and hope it won’t take 5 years to make another one happen.

We’re so thrilled you enjoyed your Denver adventure! We can’t wait to surprise you again—and let’s definitely make it sooner than five years!

Our trip to Chicago!
We enjoyed our trip to Chicago. I love the idea of a surprise vacation cultivated using my specifications. My daughter had used your services about 9 months ago and raved about her experience, so I decided to do the next trip with her. She found some discrepancies, which she will discuss in her review. I waited to find out where I was going while on the way to the airport, so I used the general guidelines for packing my bag. On the way home I had to open the extension zipper, which was still within the average height requirement, but the airline would not allow it onboard in the overhead compartment unless the extension was closed. Other suitcases in the overhead were naturally taller or as tall as my extended bag. So, knowing the airline being used ahead of time and their specific guidelines would be helpful. We thought our hotel was all paid for in our cost for our trip, but there was an extra $34 per day charge for “amenities” that we had to pay extra. The amenities were a conference room and a gym. With the amount of walking in sightseeing while there, we got our own workout. Neither amenity benefitted us. They did offer a $10 per day credit you could use either in their restaurant or “store”, so we each got an RXBar each day for $8 of the $10. It was use it or lose it. The hotel was clean and we were on the top floor, so we had a beautiful view of the cityscape, especially at night. All of the activities that were planned for us were great, and were covered by our fee. It was raining and cold on the day our Riverwalk Tour was to take place, so the tour guide offered a modified tour, showing us through many of the iconic and showcase buildings of the city and was very knowledgeable regarding history. We spent most of one delightful day on a food tour, and came away with very full stomachs and a lot more very interesting history in our heads. Our other covered activity was a day at the Art Museum. So much to see and discover there! We were there most of the day, and could have spent several more hours if we didn’t mind missing our dinner reservation. We ended up canceling a couple of our dinner reservations because of our days running later than expected or that we ended up full from our food tour or had eaten a later lunch. None of our meals were covered by the cost of our trip, and we’d have liked to have had at least one nice meal out in the evening that we had already had paid for in advance. A hotel with a breakfast included would have helped financially, also. We ended up with a $12 voucher for Uber, which wouldn’t get us very far! Thankfully, while leaving the airport, we discovered the public transportation system in Chicago, which was fantastic! We each bought a 3 day pass for $15, and were able to get most everywhere riding the subway or bus, or on foot. We did go to see the Robie House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, on our last day in town, before heading to the airport. We love his designs, and were not disappointed. This was an activity that we added, so it was not covered by our fee. We bought a train ticket that day to get us to and from, as it sat a little further out from the Loop. All and all, we did enjoy our trip, especially spending time together in a new-to-us place. For the price that we paid, we did expect a little more to be included in the fee charged (based on my daughter’s first experience). My daughter had a voucher which brought our cost down from what it would have cost originally, and we split that amount between us. Included was our hotel room for 4 nights(but not the amenity fee), airfare (direct from Pittsburgh, coach), $12 voucher for Uber, and tickets for the art museum, walking history tour, and walking food tour. Would I recommend it to others? I still love the concept! I would just advise them to come ready to pay for all of their meals, transportation, and anything extra.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us! We did reach out to you via email to ask about the amenity fee you were charged as that is not typical + is covered by us. We wish we could be an all inclusive trip so there is explanations on our website about what to expect from your budget + itinerary! We also don't like to pack you too full with activities from us so you have time to explore other areas of your destination to your liking! Glad to hear you enjoyed your overall trip to Chicago + we appreciate again all your feedback!

A Vacation Even Better Than We Would Have Planned for Ourselves
The activities planned for us really catered to our interests. Though we’d been to the vacation location in the past, this trip introduced us to so many fun excursions that we’d never considered. Such a wonderful vacation!

Good Times!
We had some hesitation but so happy we went! The team did a great job planning the trip… had a canceled event, but no fault of Pack Up & Go
My only recommendation is offering something toward the meals once a day… like a free drink or free appetizer or gift card for the restaurant… not every time we eat… but maybe the first or second night. I would have loved a starter free dish or drink
Loved the hotel and loved the activities! Great job

Thank you so much for your thorough follow up on your surprise trip with us! We are glad you you had a good time in spite of your cancelled event! We do try + provide additional activities or things like gift cards to restaurants, when we are able to do so. Hopefully, we get an opportunity to WOW you next time, with some of those additions!

Our surprise Anniversary Get-A-Way. We were pleasantly surprised with our…
We were pleasantly surprised with our destination in Traverse City, Michigan, and the location of our hotel, which was on the waterfront. One of our favorite things is to be near the water and Lake Michigan is a beautiful way to experience that.

Trip Review: Pack Up and Go to Chicago
The Pack Up and Go trip to Chicago was a fantastic experience, thanks to the excellent coordination from the teaching staff. The 24-hour customer service availability was a great asset, ensuring that any questions or concerns were addressed promptly.
The hotel was modern and conveniently located in downtown Chicago, making it easy to explore the city. However, the room was on the smaller side, which made it a bit challenging to move around with two people and luggage. A complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary would have been a thoughtful touch and added a special element to the trip.
The provided list of activities, food locations, and sites to visit was comprehensive and helpful. The donut tour was a delicious highlight, and we enjoyed exploring the city's diverse culinary scene.
We would have appreciated one additional preplanned activity, such as a picnic at the park from The Gage restaurant. This would have provided a more leisurely and relaxing experience and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful Chicago scenery.
Overall, the Pack Up and Go trip to Chicago was a memorable and enjoyable experience. The excellent coordination, helpful staff, and diverse range of activities made for a wonderful vacation. We would definitely consider booking another Pack Up and Go trip in the future.
