Great overall experience

I have seen so many negative comments about this virtual bank, and though my customer service experience hasn't always been amazing. Yesterdays experience was amazing, and I must give credit where credit is due. I live and work abroad, but like most of us who earn US dollars, we like to keep that money in dollars. Sometimes this causes problems regarding automated security and fraud alerts.... I went to go and purchase a motorcycle, i had a large deposit into my account the night before, and I knew the purchase limits for signature purchases and pin purchases. So I decided to break my purchase into 2 large payments. I had never previously made such a large purchase before and I suppose that set off the fraud alert system due to the amount of incoming, and the amount of outgoing and the location I was doing it. On my way to purchase items after the first payment on my motorcycle, I received an email informing me that my account was blocked due to a breach in the deposit agreement (the small print we all agree to when opening the account). The exact issue provided was that the deposits were made, but the beneficiary name was incorrect and therefore a potential risk. I panicked. I rushed home only to sit on the phone for 30 min, and to have the systems hangup on me after informing me there were no more representatives. Panicking again. So i went to my app and pulled up the details of all my deposits to confirm in fact they were addressed to me as the beneficiary. I then got the screenshots from my mother who sent me the money to confirm she had addressed the beneficiary correctly, which she did as she has me saved as a permanent recipient... I wrote a polite yet urgent email and explaining how there must have been a system error, and sent the screenshots. 1 hour later I received an email informing me my account was active and an apology for any inconvenience. I did not have to fight with anyone, or call for days, or demand to speak to an escalated representative. I want to thank the rep who reviewed my issue, Eric, as he understood completely and made my experience hassle free.

I frequently transfer money into and out of my accounts and everything has been flawless for me. I've seen some of the recent reviews and I'm just reporting my experience has been great. I have not had to contact customer service or file a dispute like some of the recent reviews so it's possible that experience may be different. I do have their "fire" element card and the benefits (such as reimbursement for netflix) are always accurate and timely
