Purchased a "Wooden Corner Computer Desk" from Overstock advertised with the description, "L-shaped corner design". Upon assembling, the desk is a hexagon with no right angles--so it is physically impossible to put it in a corner. Had to suffer through Overstock's unwieldy text-based customer service, which took almost 24 hours to get a response. They were not willing to waive more than 50% of the return fee, despite the fact that the NAME and DESCRIPTION of the product are deceptive and misleading. Planning to file a consumer protection complaint with my state attorney general's office.

Do not buy furniture from Overstock! I don't know about anything else - but their customer service on furniture returns is terrible! I have filed a dispute through my credit card company (thank goodness for American Express) and they are withholding payment until the dispute is resolved- which means getting Overstock to arrange for the returnb. They have no phone service to help you and their texting response is slow, doesn't resolve anything and they can't connect you with the people who are actually supposed to contact you to arrange delivery. I ordered a bedroom set which was labled as white, but which is not white, but Ivory. I would not have accepted had I been able to open the boxes to check the color, but the delivery company wouldn't bring it into the house (which I understand) because of the virus. So my husband and I moved everything into the house, opened one box and could tell the color was wrong. We immediately initated a return but there is no confirmation that your return request was submitted successfully, so I actually ended up submitting three or four requests. None of them were responded to. The place on the website to check the status of the return has no information. I have texted customer service had three useless responses from them - and the company refused to allow you to be connected to the correct department directly. Do not buy furniture from this company. I will not use them for anything ever again.

I have been trying to get a table returned from overstock for over 2 weeks and I have no response from them. DO NOT BUY FROM OVERSTOCK

I have purchased a table who’s top glass was shattered before the freight company was able to deliver it. I’ve been trying for multiple weeks to get some resolution and still can’t.

The pillow cases I ordered were not or even close to the shade shown on their site. They also did not have the sheen shown on their site. They wanted me to pay for return even though it was their mistake. I will never but from overstock.com again!!!

I placed 2 orders with them the first order never shipped when I tried to cancel the order I just got a lot of run aroud with out any help and coul not cacel the order Very poor customer service

I should have read the reviews before making a purchase. So I have been looking for an engagement ring and found the one on overstock so I made the purchase (April 2,2020) now I get it, covid-19 has slowed everything down, so I'd figured after payment clears 1-2 days prepare for shipping would be more like 6-8 days prep for shipping 10 at the most. Well it's April 18th and the ring still hasn't shipped. To add injury to insult their customer service doesn't know their head from their butts. I was told, " be assured your ring will ship no later than close of the business day on the 17th." Lol, guess what I'm not assured! The customer service offers nothing but apologies! What's that? Some person sitting behind a computer saying sorry. I don't need your apologies, I need the item I purchased.

I will NEVER deal with Overstock again. I ordered a grass removing machine ( de-thatcher) so as to do my lawn. It was supposed to come within a week. Great! Well not great. Just before the delivery date, they email me that they cannot deliver it as promised..but if they can't within 30 days, then they will cancel the order. So first i have to contact a landscaper to do the work... and then, I try to cancel the order. There is no provision on their website to cancel. You need to call them. OK, they don't answer, and you get a message that is not at all helpful. This company is CRAP!... Be smarter than me and don't ever deal with them. It's not worth the aggravation. Please Note: Perhaps I was a little premature. A few days after writing this, they delivered the item. I assembled it and tried it out. Seems to work as it should. Perhaps my caustic review hastened the delivery. Whatever, Overstock did deliver so sorry for the nasty review. However, it would have been nicer if Overstock would have notified me sooner so I could have cancelled the order. I still had to pay the landscaper for his service, but the job is done and I can do it myself next time so not a great loss.
