I ordered a mattress from Overstock.com and waited for it to ship. I finally got an email saying it shipped, but there was no tracking number which makes NO sense. Finally, someone from Overstock told me they had a tracking number for me (about 2 weeks later, mind you) and that the mattress was scheduled for delivery on 9/9 and someone would call me to confirm. No one ever called, so I emailed the shipping company and they said no, there's no confirmation the mattress would be delivered on the 9th and I would actually have to wait another TWO WEEKS for it to be delivered. Why on earth would Overstock #1-not provide a tracking number when something shipped and #2-Give me a wrong delivery date? We've been sleeping on a king bed frame and boxspring with a queen mattress, waiting for this thing to be delivered. I just don't understand why they'd give me the wrong information and no tracking and it's on ME to contact the shipping company to schedule it, which is taking an insanely long amount of time. Not happy.

I ordered cargo pants value 138 euro. They were shipped quickly but held in Greek Customs who invoiced me a further 126 euro to release them. Overstock advised all duties were paid and to contact FedEx. Well that is some sort of joke. 3 weeks on and no-one absolutely no-one will take any responsibility. Feels like a fake company a huge con.

I ordered a couch through them for my new apartment and they canceled my order due to “lack of information”. But apparently they’re loss of prevention team was suppose to contact me for more info and never did! That pisses me off so much! So they went ahead and canceled my order. But not once did I received anything from they’re loss of prevention team. It’s extremely annoying!

We placed an order for a microwave through Overstock. Within 30-40 minutes from ordering we realized a mistake was made and cancelled the order. Unfortunately they said order could not be cancelled due to it being sent to their warehouse. We emailed and called them directly stating the error and to cancel the order. Still 3-5 days later we received the microwave and was told we would have to pay to have it returned. How in today's connected age can a company not be able to cancel an order within 30-40 minutes from it being placed! Their customer service was despicable at best when dealing with and of utterly no help. Buyer beware when ordering from them, their business practices treat the customer like throw away garbage. I will NEVER order anything through them again. What a waste of time dealing with them and a waste of money by them packing and shipping an item that was cancelled within plenty of time from when it was ordered.

I purchased a chandelier for $600 and there were no written instructions. I contacted Overstock repeatedly, and eventually the manufacturer. No help with written instructions. I paid for 2 different installers and an electrician and nobody could figure it out. 9 months later, I have to throw it away and Overstock would not help with any store credit.

Does OVERSTOCK.COM really exist? We ordered and paid for 4 lights, but delivery was delayed (never received). After more than a week's delay (7 days after it was supposed to arrive), we sent to another (different) retailer and picked up the same product. We tried to send a text to Overstock, but my phone says it is a non-working number. I sent a message via their Chat but they only said that they would investigate. Only after I called today did someone agree that (today) the order would be cancelled. It is very difficult dealing with this company. It seems as if it is totally automated, and cannot figure out if it has the product or not

Items pictured are not necessarily what you will get. Apparently I thought I ordered a gold planter as pictured, but in the blurb, it says only available in white. Called to return and spoke to someone outside of the US who sounded like they were reading lines out of a book in response and doesn't clearly understand what you are saying--- she said that it was sold thru a 3rd party company and we have to go through them for returns. Thus, the $19 for Overstock membership for free returns won't work, even though they misled me on my purchase. I also just recently paid for a rug that came and was definitely not the color in the picture--also had to pay for that return. Also, if you buy their "membership," you don't get free returns, you get store credit for the return price-- which is totally not mentioned. And then you are stuck having to shop with them again. This company is not transparent-- do your purchases on Amazon where they are clear and good with customer service! I will NOT shop here any longer
