This company was an absolute nightmare! When I say long, I mean long delivery time. Customer service was a horrific experience! Most of the phone calls you are placed on hold. When you finally get someone to answer, all you get is a transfer to someone else who has you on hold for 30min plus! The people who answer know nothing! One person answered my question one way, the next representative contradicted everything that was said! I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Yuck!

Do not purchase a single thing from this site!!!! Absolute horrible experience

Pretty bad experience. I received someone else’s order instead 0f my own today. I called customer service like 7 or 8 times, spoke with 3 different supervisors and it was like trying to reason with a 14 year old. I finally received an email with a return shipping label and have to ship back some lady’s earrings, drive up to a UPS Store and wait about a 2 weeks for a refund. I won’t shop there again.

This is the worst business and company I have ever encountered. Their customer service is so disorganized and know nothing. I ordered a desk on June 13 and it said it would be delivered June 25...it never came. So I reached out and reached out and they kept telling me different things. Today, July 8th I finally gave up on them and just requested a refund. Still no desk. I will NEVER purchase anything again from Overstock.

Deceptive selling points. Advertise 2 day free shipping if you order in a specified period of time from marketplace seller. Then item was shipped next day using regular shipping that would take 8 days. I contacted customer service and they passed me back and forth with the seller. The seller stated the 2 day shipping is not a guaranteed delivery date but I told them that is not the point. If you utilize that 2 day free shipping option as a selling point, you should ship it 2 day instead of ground.Then the next day I got a delayed shipping notice from overstock.com as the reason for the delay. But item was shipped and in transit the following day using regular UPS ground. Basically there was no delay. That was used by the seller to get around paying more for shipping they advertise they will give you if you buy within a 5 hour time frame that counts down. Once you pay, they just claim there is a delay to cover not doing it. It’s all designed to make you buy something from them with the hope of getting it faster when they have no intention to do so. Customer service kept dancing around it by stating 2 day free shipping is not a guaranteed delivery date etc… but I said that is not even the point! It’s not the delivery date it’s the utilization of the upgraded shipping option that is being advertised for goodness sake and I showed them the screen shots!

First, I open the first box... and the shelves are PURPLE. Yes, folks, PURPLE. Never saw a purple espresso before, have you? So, I go back to the company and say I want a refund. They send me a barcode to return it. NO FREE RETURNS - what online company doesn't do free returns?? And not only do you have to pay for the return - you have to pay what the barcode they send you DICTATES you pay. For example, I bought these 3 shelves for $96 - I know - too expensive... But if they were Espresso, it would work. I took the label and boxes to UPS and guess how much the forced shipping was? $55! I called them. I told them the shelves were PURPLE - they should absorb the cost to take them back. Nope. Absolutely not. Fraud? Don't care. Ridiculous expense to send back? "That's all we offer". Worst customer service out there. So now, the last insult. I go buy espresso spray paint and begin assembly. of the 12 screws that hold the shelves together, THREE were stripped and not functional. So, I head back to Home Depot and buy Epoxy glue. Are you counting up the expenses just to get the product to where they SHOULD have been on arrival? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! If you happen to get the correct product as advertised - it probably won't assemble. And you have NO recourse. It's a total scam.

Believe the bad reviews. About three weeks ago I ordered some garden furniture from Overstock. I ordered from them because the website said the items were in stock. When my order didn’t ship, I contacted them via their chat service to see what was going on. I asked if the order was actually in stock, and they said yes, and when I questioned why it wasn’t being shipped yet, they came back and said it was in fact not in stock, but apparently was a custom made item that would take 6-8 weeks to ship. They then cut off the chat. They also cancelled my negative review on their website. I have a screen capture of this chat, if I can post it. I could have purchased this same item elsewhere for a little bit more money, and I would have if I had known I would have so many problems.

Bestelling gedaan van een lounge salon. Levering voorzien 25/6. Nog eens in winkel geweest voor iets anders, Toen zeiden ze even snel dat levering zou zijn op 5/7 omdat ik ernaar vroeg. Er zou een 'stockbreuk' zijn. Sorry, is niet mijn probleem. Kom jullie belofte voor levering na. Bijhorende salontafel voorzien voor half juli wordt nu half augustus. Vandaag 5/7 levering van salon met 2 verschillende wagens. 1 van de 2 vond ons niet. Telefoneerde ons enkele keren, we leggen duidelijk uit waar het is. Besluit nadien om vandaag niet meer te komen omdat hij teveel tijd zou zijn verloren. We wonen nochtans op een drukke gekende straat en totaal niet afgelegen. Reeds 10x gebeld naar Overstock maar daar nemen ze natuurlijk niet op. Koop NOOIT meer iets bij Overstock. Is wel altijd iets. Dit aangekocht via winkel te Wetteren. PS: men kan blijkbaar geen review geven op Facebook en op Google.
