Worse refund policy, no one can help me at all.. I brought a dresser there.The Drawers kept falling off since it hit the year mark and it was pass the 30days no one can refund me. They want you to buy the 5-year warranty because they know their stuff is crap. I would never order from there again within a year this crap started to break. Horrible customer service experience.

I purchased 2 pillows from them and saw immediately upon purchasing them that they were going to the wrong address (previous address- which is 40 minutes away). I called them that second and reported my error and provided them with the new address. I was told that it was no problem. The items went to my previous address and now I’m being told that 1 of 3 things can happen: I can ask for family and friends (is this lord and Taylor) to try to retrieve the item, reorder the item with 10 percent off or simply throw away 70 dollars. They blamed customer service for not giving me accurate information, then the warehouse and then me. So the expectation is that I pay again or not receive my purchase. Supposedly, another supervisor will be calling me back within 24-48 hours to probably feed me the same information. This will be the 3rd person I spoke to. I guess I’ll have to call my bank and stop payment. When do people start taking responsibility for their behavior?

The worst customer service ever never again

Never order from overstock, it is impossible to speak to someone in the oversize department. Have called over 5 times and keep getting the runaround. My son has emailed numerous times! Places the first order and got no confirmation number my son went on overstock chat and was told the order never went through and to resubmit the order which we did and they delivered two of each and charged me twice! My bank charged me overdraft fees and had to go straighten out my bank account. Horrible experience never order from this company.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I placed an order for a couch and dresser. Having received no confirmation three days later I contacted their customer service chat. Was told directly "I see that you didn't place the order and the order didn't go through". Asked if I should reorder the items and told yes, you should reorder. Save the chat, just in case. Days later receive duplicate orders. Contact Overstock and they want $155 to return the duplicate order their representative told me hadn't been placed. Still have no record of the first order in my account and absolutely zero confirmation from them that the first order ever even existed. Try to explain to them that I only reordered because their representative told me to and send a copy of the chat showing exactly that. Their response is they won't cover the return because my order was placed after the chat. Yes, obviously. Their rep TOLD ME TO REORDER. The order they told me was cancelled was done 3 days prior. They either don't understand this basic concept or are just willfully ignorant. The products themselves are fine, unfortunately there's duplicates sitting on my porch for the past two weeks. $1200 dollars of my money is tied up waiting for the return/refund and Overstock refuses to take responsibility for their error. This is an absolute thrash company and I will never again purchase anything from them. I'll be filing complaints with the BBB and NY Attorney General Office against them. This is the first negative review I've ever left, I'm just indignant at being treated like this after making a $1200 purchase. I understand their prices are low but please think twice before giving them your business.

I ordered a set of 4 barstools on June 21 with confirmation they would ship within 1-2 business days. After several weeks of no tracking that my package had left for shipping, I called Overstock. They told me my order had been lost. They canceled that order and submitted a new one on July 13. Again, I was told they would ship within 1-2 business days. Again, no sign of shipping. I called again. They said they put an urgent note in the file and I would see them soon. Again, I did not receive them. I called to cancel the order. This time the gentleman on the line said to wait an additional 1-2 business days, said there was still a set in the warehouse and he promised to get them shipped within 1-2 business days and to hold off on canceling. I did. I received a shipment from Overstock yesterday. It was an 11 x 14 UPS Express Box with NOTHING in it. (SEE PICS). The shipping label on the outside said the package was 4 counter stools and that the package weighed 24lbs. Clearly, 4 counter stools cannot fit in this box. I spent the last 1 1/2 months and $567.00 to get a small box of air from Overstock. And now they are telling me since I didn't cancel the order and they shipped the small empty box, I have to work with UPS to schedule a time for them to come pick the box up, return the small empty box of air and wait another 3-5 business days to get my $567 refund. I just want my money back. This should not happen to any customer out there.

Terrible customer services. I ordered a rug that isn't straight on one side. I sent them a photo and asked how to return it when they sent it to me in plastic wrap and the wrap had to be torn to open the product. Sent them email 3 times. I've been a good customer of theirs for years, but I guess if you have a problem with an order they just don't care.

Buyer beware. If you want to return anything from Overstock, you are responsible for paying return shipping. If any issues arise or you buy from a 3rd party seller, Overstock is no help. There are way too many other options for online shopping. Shop anywhere but Overstock.
