Overstock.comReviews of overstock.com

I recently purchased a gold nugget pendant from overstock and when I received it I was disappointed in the very small size compared to the picture of item I returned item via ups and paid 24dollars to return the item because I was told by overstock I would have to pay to myself to return instead of overstock providing me free return shipping which I have on my account, then was told by overstock that I would not be reimbursed for cost of shipping return because it was buyers remorse,, not misrepresentation of product by photos ,, I will no longer purchase high value items at overstock

Ordered an item 2weeks after emailing and texting overstock they said my item won't be sent because they don't have it

I recently purchased ~$10,000 in furnishings for my new home which included a $1,500 King mattress. Upon receiving the mattress, I lied down on it and realized that it was too tall for my platform and too soft for my liking. My request for a refund was rejected because Overstock.com policy states the following: "You will only qualify for a full refund for damaged or defective mattresses, mattress sets, or foundations if you refuse the item(s) at the time of delivery. If damage/defects are found after delivery, please notify us immediately." It is impossible to know that you will like furniture simply by viewing it on a website. Furniture is used in our living spaces and therefore, we can only know if it meets our needs if we "experience" it in our living space. Overstock.com fails to realize this important fact and therefore, I will never waste another dollar with them.

I recently moved from Virginia to Florida. I purchased two furniture items for my new home and used PayPal to pay. When I received the order confirmation, I realized the shipping address was incorrect, it was my old address. I notified Overstock within 20 minutes of placing the order to change the address. I was told it was too late to change the address as the order had been processed. The only thing they could do is notify the shipping warehouse and the shipping warehouse would either call me or email me in 2 to 3 days as to whether or not they could change the address. The next day I received shipping notification, the package is going to an address in another state where I no longer live. I have not received an email or phone call from the shipping warehouse as promised.

I ordered 2 queen size pillows from Overstock. The price as good. They arrived late, not a problem, but what was a problem was that the box was not sealed all the way & had I not come home when I did, the pillows would have been soaked from rain. It was not the shipper (though they should have put them better under my porch roof, instead of partly sticking out) fault. The box had not been sealed well & I am not sure if they were a return that were sent, or they just failed to tape the box well. After examining the pillows, they did not show any dirt on them, but I did email Overstock to tell them about the pillows & enclosed photos. They have never responded. That they could ship pillow the way they did (they should have been in one of those white bags, not a small box they had to sqeeze them into) is beyond me. I warn everyone to be careful what you order from them. Had they replied to my emails I would not have posted, but it is obvious they do not care & have lost a customer. I would like to add photos so others can see, but do not see a place to upload.

DO NOT order Fragrances from Overstock! I purchased a perfume from Overstock. I paid my good hard working $ Miss Dior Cherie. Waited a week. Received a bottle of the Miss Dior Eau de perfume. The same perfume I could have purchased at Macy’s! I waited and paid for a perfume that was false advertised! Picture and description on Overstock’s site was a lie!
