If I could give a negative number I would. I am an idiot for using this disgusting company. They don’t even have the products they sell ‘personally’. They instead use a 3rd party they absolutely do not vet in ANY way!! The third party sent a ‘part’ of my chair and ottoman and even that came in a totally smashed box that was obviously a returned item! They did not send the main bases for the parts (just the padded chair parts)!! Far worse yet, after they took my money AND wasted $200+ worth of my time on the phone ‘trying’ to figure out how they screwed this up so bad, they now just sent a message the chair was delayed several weeks after overstocked promised I would get it in a week!!! Also, the worst aspect is that they charged me $80 MORE than the site advertised !!! Overstocked takes NO responsibility and forces you to talk with the useless companies they work with THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM THAT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!! I will be calling the BBB :( THIEVES !!!!!!!

I paid my account in full and then receive an email stating that I owed $6.00, when I looked at my account, they charged me $2.00 after I paid the account off, then another $2.00 late fee and now another $2.00 finance charge. I called and they said the original $2.00 was finance charges, but I paid exactly what the balance due was. Closed my account and will never use them again.

It took them one month to deliver a damaged item to me. Called customer service and no response ever since. Every time I called the cc, they asked me to wait 1-4 BD. Please avoid this company! Totally scam!

Ordered an item and canceled the order within 30 minutes. They sent the item anyways and are charging 16.50 to return it. This is my first experience with overstock and will be my last!

I echo all other reviews about terrible Customer Service. I have been trying to get a credit for an item I returned 10 days ago. I called Customer Service two days after I dropped off the parcel at UPS and they told me that the item had been returned to the Warehouse, and should take 3 days to receive a credit. A week later still no credit, so I called Customer Service and the agent apologized for the “delay”, and she would initiate the refund. Who knows if and when I should receive my refund. Why is it that Overstock can so readily charge my credit card for the items I purchased but I have to fight to receive a refund from them? Never again will I use this inept business!

We purchased an outdoor table with and extended warranty last year. When we uncovered it from our garage we found that the finish had pealed off in numerous locations. We have had multiple contacts with their customer service who claim its a warranty issue and should be covered by Guardsmen. Guardsmen claim that it is a manufacturers defect and not eligible under their warranty. This back and forth accompanied by numerous emails,calls and photos has been going on for 5 months with no resolution. This company does not stand by what it sells and we are out over $2,000.

So mad I'm shaking!!!!!!! DO NOT FOR ANY REASON BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM MY ORDER THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HERE ON THE 12TH WASNT HERE I CALLED THEM THEY SAID IT WILL BE THERE IN 1 TO 2 DAYS NOT HERE NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING I CALLED THEY SAID OH IT WAS CANCELED THEY NEVER TOLD US IT WAS CANCELED SAID THEY SENT AN EMAIL WHICH THEY DIDNT. WHOEVER I TALKED TO BOTH TIMES THEY COULD CARE LESS.

Extremely difficult getting a hold of customer service either online or by phone. To return a very large item they expect you to take it to UPS which is unmanageable. They also charge you for printing a label to return an item. I know I’m ending up having to sell the item online to try to get some money back for a purchase I absolutely hate. I have used overstock before and was somewhat satisfied but not anymore. I will not use them again.
