Overstock.comReviews of overstock.com

By the time you read this it will be too late! If you click onto their website you will, from then onwards, be bombarded with daily email advertising from them. You cannot stop this. If you click on the "UNSUBSCRIBE" box, nothing will happen. Instead the website has confirmation of your email address and will continue to bombard you with daily, incessant, email rubbish. My friends have admitted to this problem too. You cannot stop this even by labelling incoming mail as JUNK as Overstock deliberately changes its email heading address daily.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They are no more than a drop ship company these days. Estimated arrival date for an order wasn't even close to being accurate. It was supposed to arrive today and still says "delayed". Customer service is slow, unhelpful, and generally a waste of time. Now I have to cancel the Overstock order AND contact the manufacturer? Are you kidding me? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

You would think an online retailer like overstock.com would be able to handle a simple online order. They cancelled my order stating my billing address didn't match (it does match, I confirmed it in my account myself - my billing address hasn't changed in over 20 years...) Now the item is out of stock and cannot be ordered. Joy at customer service was worthless. This company is trash and I will absolutely NEVER buy anything from them every again.

I never received the item I purchased. I spent many hours over a few weeks calling and emailing for help. Customer service representatives were totally ineffective. Every escalation resulted in nothing. Supervisor wouldn’t come to the phone and never called me back as promised. Complete nightmare. I wasted so much time and now will be wasting more to get them to process my refund. Beware!

Overstock substitute my order without notification, didn't like what overstock substitute it with. Waited close to a month before receiving my tv stand, will never buy anything from overstock...unsatisfied customer

Just don't return anything. They charge an arm and a leg for a return shipping label. Yes, I could buy one on my own, but IMO, it's probably faster to use their label. My purchase was under $40.00. They charged me $18.00 for a return label. That's crazy! I won't be doing business with them anymore.

Purchased an item which I thought was from Overstock but actually was through Skymall ( small writing in description) need to return because the cord is not long enough. Overstock will not provide shipping label and Skymall will not provide either. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!! Beware of marketplace sellers via Overstock

Bought living room furniture from Overstock and I was the one that found out my order had been damaged in shipping and would not be arriving because I got the run around. Then they escalated getting me a new set that arrived at the airport a mile from my house on 11/2/2022. They use Ceva logistics which is probably the worst shipping company. Three deliveries have not shown up with no communication. Overstock really doesn't seem to care or want to concern themselves with the fact I have been waiting for furniture since 9/6/22 and have been promised over and over they are resolving the issue. Thanksgiving at my house with no furniture should be fantastic!!!
