Overstock.comReviews of overstock.com

I ordered two outdoor rugs from Overstock. When they arrived they weren’t ANYTHING like the advertised photo. I wasn’t even sure they were the same rugs! I tried returning them and Overstock is charging me half the cost of each rug to return them! Don’t order from this company - they border on scamming.

I needed a lightweight 10 lb propane tank which has been very hard to find for my weed burner. Overstock had them so I called to verify they were in stock and was told they had a lot of them. 2 days later I starterd receiving emails they were being delayed due to shipping problems. Email #2, same thing, more delays. A week later email #3 came and said warehouse needed an address update. I called and updated, then was told it was out of stock. But was also told the warehouse had pulled and set one aside with my name on it and now with an address update they would have it to me within 2-3 days. Later that night I received yet another email saying "Sorry to Inform You it may be another 30 days!" I had already prepped my yard for the burner the previous week and was expecting this tank to be delivered before it all grew back! They sold out right from underneath me due to their disorganization and then lied to me they had saved me one. NOT! They did NOT even though I had already paid for it. I'll never order from them again.

I ordered a patio set at the posted price. I am shocked to find that the price was increased without my knowledge or approval. Moreover, no mention was made of tax being added. I can understand that. But the PRICE was increased. Never again will I order from these thieves. Liars ... charging me more than the posted amount; thieves for refusing to honor their posted price. Overstock is not an honorable company. No integrity, either.

Wost experience ever! I ordered 2 window AC units on Walmart.com to be fulfilled and shipped by Overstock. However, I actually recieved 2 huge patio umbrellas instead of the AC units.... It got worse from there... Walmart said I had to contact Overstock to get it resolved and Overstock insisted that Walmart needed to fix the problem. Eventually, Overstock agreed to accept a return but said that I did not need a return shipping label and they would just have a UPS driver pick up the huge boxes that wont even fit in my car. However, UPS came and refused pickup becuase there was no shipping label. So now these huge patio umbrellas are sitting on my porch. No refund in sight since they won't refund until they get the returned items. Once again on the phone with Overstock and they are giving me the run around about giving me return shipping labels, saying that UPS should be providing those? Called UPS directly and they said that Overstock need to provide those to me. Sheesh!! What a pain. Will never deal with them again!!

This company doesn't care about it's customers. Their website sets the last order details to your default. So if you shop something to someone else and then order something for yourself later, it will ship to the older address and refuse to change it. So have fun picking up you item from another state. Also, they ship each item separately on different days. Good luck with that. They furniture is such bad quality and breaks when putting it together. Overall a sham of a company.

Horrible company with employees that could care less about your reason for a return! They told me I was going to need to pay return postage because they sent a package I requested cancelled within an hour of placing the order. I explained to them that it wasn't until I placed my order I saw the product I originally wanted but couldn't find pop up on my screen. In the end I returned the box unopened and am waiting to see if I as well get screwed with a double return charge like other customers. I think the foreign speaking "customer service return representative " needs to learn better English to better assist customers with returns. DO NOT USE OVERSTOCK.COM! You will regret it if there is any problem with your order or if you try to return an item.

I recently ordered a Tiffany style Mission patterned wall sconce in bronze (the other choice was blue/green). However what I received was the blue/green version of this item, not the bronze. I tried the chat line for returns and it just cut off with not resolution. So I called to request the correct color and after much back & forth the representative found the correct color and said it would be shipped out as soon as I initiated the return through UPS. I took the item back to UPS and the replacement came a few days later. I was surprised to discover that the replacement was the same blue/green lamp that I had returned. So I had to make another call to customer care, box up the incorrect item and return it to UPS. I find it hard to believe that the shipping department would replace the incorrect item with the very same item. Needless to say I have requested a refund and am done with Overstock. I have searched and can find the same item for a similar price through another vendor. I will be urging others to avoid Overstock and purchase items through other vendors.

Bought loveseat. Never delivered. No refund. No customer service. Reported to BBB and Consumer Bureau of FTC.
