This company has the worse customer service....do not buy from them. If i could give a minus I would. I ordered an item and before I even received it, it was discounted by a large amount. And so, I called multiple times, and they said NOPE no moneys back end the end. They lied to me over and over. First, they said they would send the difference then nope...each time I had to explain it a again to a foreign speaking person. I asked for a manager...and told too tied up...they would give me a phone call. well, I never received a phone call. I will never order from this company ever again. Save the time and trouble and go somewhere honest.

Honestly, I wish MINUS STARS was a possible option. It is impossible to have a worst customer experience - I placed one order for (4) sets of curtains - the company is charging $98.76 to RETURN then when I tried to process online, I had to spend another amount of time re-explaining EVERYTHING YET AGAIN to their horrible Customer Service Department. This was after having spent hours trying to get the company to correct a duplicate charge on my credit card/paypal. If you can buy these products ANYWHERE ELSE, do your self a favor and pick another company

I ordered a bed in early May 2023. The order came in two separate shipments. One of them was the bed frame, which was a different model from what I ordered. I called their Customer Service to explain they sent the wrong bed. They initiated a replacement shipment (and requested I return the other bed). We disassembled the wrong bed and put back in the box. We got the replacement shipment and as we were assembling that, we discovered a defective part that was critical for complete assembly. In summary, they sent the wrong bed, and now they sent a defective part that I cannot use to assemble the bed. That's going back too. Total waste of time and effort and money. This will be my last purchase from them.

This company is a scam company with a joke of a customer service department. I had to explain my problem 6 times for her to understand due to her not understanding English very well. And she kept going back to her script to have a conversation. Then she informed me that they would charge my 83 yr old mother $31 to return a $120 item. Avoid this company, I know I will!!!!

Ordered a sofa on their Memorial Day Sale that came with free 2 day shipping. 2 days later first message came that it would be 2 days late. A few hours later said it would be yet another day late. Called customer service as I have company coming and needed it on the day it was originally promised. CS is absolutely useless, would not honor 2 day shipping said it was send ground and hung up on me 3 times!! DONE with Overstock!!!!!

Terrible customer service. Lies about shipment and backorders are common. Items are always late or not shipped at all. What do you expect from a company whose owner is a trump supporter

I ordered a bunk bed from Overstock over three weeks ago. It appears that they sold and charged me for an item that is on back order. After waiting weeks and placing multiple calls to customer service with them telling me, “because it’s a large item, it takes the warehouse a longer time to pull it,” I finally had to purchase another bed elsewhere. The status still showed as ‘processing’ when I called to cancel the order. Almost three days after I called to cancel that order and speaking to two different representatives, it’s now showing ‘in transit’ despite me canceling the order!!! Due to their return policy, now I’m going to be responsible for the return shipping on a very heavy piece of furniture, which will likely cost me hundreds of dollars. Steer clear of Overstock. They don’t have honest policies or practices, and their customer service representatives will readily lie to placate you.

I ordered 150 feet of chain link fence from Overstock. It was delivered April 17. The manufacturer is Aleko and several pieces are missing that is preventing us from completing the erection of this fence. Communication with these people is horrendous. I told them which parts are missing and after 2 failed delivery dates (always some excuse) we finally got a package but it did not contain the parts we need. So now we are digging up the poles (they are 2 section with a sleeve joining them together) and have purchased separate 8 feet poles from Lowe's in order to get the job done. I will never deal with this company again.
