Customer service was unhelpful and patronizing—no intent to help. The company mistakenly listed a product for cheaper than they wanted, I purchased it, and a day later they cancelled my order. There was no attempt to rectify or even remotely resolve the issue. I’d never trust a company that doesn’t stand behind their orders and will cancel orders “at any time they see fit” regardless of when you purchased it, per customer service supervisor. They initially lied and said it was out of stock—it was not and is still in stock. This company is a bait and switch scam, and they proudly admitted to doing so. Horrible business ethics and horrible customer service. They don’t care and will try to get you to buy a higher priced product after cancelling your order for a lower priced identical product. Never purchase from this company—I certainly won’t be in the future.

Absolute awful experience.

Delivered an $800+ item with a crooked logo and then claimed it was not a manufacturing defect and refused to find a solution with me

In attempting to return a rug - and online return wasn't possible (platform communicated that 'You haven't placed any orders yet') - I asked the customer service person the process for initiating the return process. 1| He put me on hold for '1 or 2 minutes' (his words). Seriously? This is a very standard question - maybe even most frequent - that a CS person should be prepared to answer without consult. 2| The item - $7 to ship - would require a $20 return label when the item was a $27 rug. Coincidence? If the product were damaged - there apparently be no return charge. It was communicated that I can ship myself through UPS and then call and notify Overstock.com of the tracking number. Please make it easier! This is crazy. It's almost as if you don't want return customers.

Item came broken

I placed an order for cups,king mattress pad, I received the wrong cups, had to go to different places to return the cups!!! Customer service was nice,but they could have offered me something!!! Than the mattress pad came in wrong size,by this time . I’m really pissed!!! Customer service was ok again,well this time .ups is coming to pickup,but the box it came in was vacuum packed. So I couldn’t use it, I live 20 minutes away,I had to drive 30 minutes away to find a box to fit the mattress pad!! I guess there is no consideration about that. I ve been a long time customer with overstock!!! But your staff are nice!!! But there is no compassion to senior citizens are really trying to really understand American traditions!!!!

The rug was soaking wet at one end and it was 8 by 10 she told me to bring it to ups and return it . How can we do that we don’t have a truck so I laid it down with towels under it for a week till it dried. Disappointed by the response .

Can’t return after 30 days? $1500!
