Outdoor VitalsWe create high performance ultralight backpacking gear without middlemen or retail markups. When you're headed into the intensity of nature, having high performing ultralight gear is inspiring. It helps you go farther while staying safe and comfortable. It empowers you to go where you haven't gone before.Outdoor Vitals was founded for this purpose. We tenaciously pursue the design of performance ultralight gear and sell it directly to you without the extra fees of investors, middlemen or retail markups so you can spend more time outdoors pushing, learning and growing.By changing from the traditional way of doing business & selling directly to you we cut 40-50% out of the price tag of products sold through retail stores. We then turn around and invest those savings into building a better product so you know when you head to the mountains you have gear with you that is uncompromising in quality and design. Gear that will keep you comfortable and never limit you.We take the harder path of business to better connect you to the Vital Outdoors.

I purchased two pieces of gear. Shadowlight 60 and novaUL. Both are well constructed and thoughtfully designed. The shadowlight has been really comfortable and I really appreciate the easy access features. Customer service is responsive and follows up.

Outdoor Vitals has outstanding customer service. You are dealing with a company that operates with transparency and puts the customer experience first from product design all the way through teaching how to maintain each product for years. They are the gold standard for support all they through their work, well beyond others who only stress the customer interface.

I love the Vario jacket, it’s an excellent 3 season jacket that hold up pretty well even in freezing weather. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a well made, and warm jacket to look into the Vario

OV sells ultralight gear that works. Quality is very good. Service excellent. Sizes tend to run a bit small so get a size bigger than you need. Good folks to do business with.

Emailed customer service and got a response right away. Have done this many times before about general questions and the service is consistently excellent. Further I love the way they are always pushing the limits of garment construction to make garments more functional.

I love working with OV. they always seem to make it happen, and I can always count on the quality of products. The best thing (IMO) these guys (and girls) use the products they create. Well thought out designs!
