This place is a complete scam and doesn’t exist!

As others have said, this outfit appears not to be where or what they say they are. The shipping company at the address they give shows pictures inside their warehouse, where there are no outboard engines. Reviews are mostly by "people" who have done only one review...the bland, generic, "everything was good" ones they posted here. One reviewer has posted 4 reviews- in English, French and Italian. All bland, generic, "everything was good" for a number of different sites. Very likely all AI-generated. If this outfit did the amount of business they should with the prices they offer there should be hundreds of reviews -- way more than a dozen or so that show here on Trustpilot. Threads on other sites that have discussed this firm suggest that it recently changed its name to this one. Possibly because the old name had gotten recognized as a scam site. The fact that they only accept Zelle, Bank transfers or bitcoin means there is no way to get your money back when the motor fails to show up. A legitimate business in Ohio would also be likely to belong to the Better Business Bureau

(I am Cross-posting from Google maps reviews.) The website outboardshopusa[dot]com lists an address in Columbus, Ohio. I visited that address today (March 10, 2026) and they in fact are not there. The company does not have a physical presence at the address they have listed on their website. They also have not responded to my WhatsApp text messages (a customer contact feature on their website) and appear to be an illegitimate company. Do not spend your money here. It is allegedly a scam in my opinion. A different company is at the address now and those people are lovely. When I entered, they told me that others have driven here to buy boat parts only to find the company does not exist. Buyer beware.

Hello, I have been working with this company and have had no luck determining if they are legit, I will say that they have sent me a link through paypal to review the invoice and pay, but when i clicked on it it asked me to login to paypal, I did and immediately got a notice they had run the invoice for payment. Which luckily was denied due to security issues. The holder of the Paypal account is located in Nairobi, Kenyan. Buyer be ware! These guys might be legit, but there are several other suspicious reasons. Paypal was notified. Not accusing but very suspicious this might be a scam. Hope this helps.

In my investigating this website before deciding to purchase I found this website does not pass the sniff test. The address given links to a vacant industrial office space currently for lease. The company website states it is in Blacklick, OH, a suburb of Columbus yet the phone number given is registered as a landline and is from the NE part of the state, minimum four hours drive time away with a different area code than what serves Columbus. Take this info as you see fit. Buyer beware.

Please look this up on Trustpilot to find additional info and don’t let yourselves be ripped off !!!!! The recent „Response“ to this Review by this make-belief „Outboardshopusa“ is quite - BRAZEN -, I; (as a formerly deceived and stolen from customer) have been (likely inadvertently) messaged by these perpetrators themselves that their previous fraudulent „online-shop“ - yamahamotorsonline - ( www…com) ( go see yourself on - trustpilot - ) has been closed and now been „rebranded“ as „Outboardshopusa“ ! Even their „businessmodel“ seems to be unchanged : Get a customer - to pay for an outboard motor -, then - direct him to a „logistics“impersonator - who - on his website will fabricate „tracking-numbers“ and bombard him with requests for additional fees (like : VIP-delivery fees, Customs-stamps,etc) BUT : No outboard will ever be shipped or received !
