I thought a follow up was worth the time. As I reported earlier I had an excellent shipping experience. with OSM. I'm starting to wonder if all the complaints relate to "FREE SHIPPING". I also wonder if the negative responses are related your paying extra for priority 2-3 day delivery and not receiving you order within that time frame. If that is case then you should be filing a refund request from the shipper concerned. My experience still remains 5 star with OSM and 7-10/15 day free shipping. Many sellers advertise "free shipping" because they use inexpensive third party shippers to augment the primary shipper. I am such a seller and make every attempt to contain shipping costs and I do not offer any priority delivery options. I clearly state 7-15 day delivery time and rarely deliver late excepting unexpected weather conditions...and believe me when the there is a blizzard, hurricane or some other disaster there is going to be delays. I have been selling online since 1991 selling mostly small antiques and other collectables. All I can suggest is that you folks pay for priority shipping and ask for refunds from the shipper if item is late delivered. Otherwise I have little to say for that segment of our society that seems to simply enjoy being negative. As a BTW the USPS is making policy changes that will add several additional days to certain classes of mail, this is going to affect both sellers and buyers. These changes are an attempt to remain competitive as operational expenses spiral uncontrollably higher. Over the years my shipping cost have gone from about 11% to almost 45% and in most cases I "ship free", but you still bear the shipping because it is included in the "free shipping price". Hmmm! Maybe I should start a club with 5000-10000 of my customers to pay me about $100 a head per year and then I could continue to "ship free".
