Mahmoud, our guide for much of our Egyptian tour was great. He was schooled in the history of each site we visited but also brought a personal note to each story. We were traveling with three teenagers and his connection to them kept them attentive and has resulted in lifetime memories and many stories to tell. He was prompt, courteous and "felt" like one of the family. I would highly recommend Osiris Tours for your next wow vacation!! Thank you Mahmoud!

My girlfriend and I took a Nile cruise and tour with Mahmoud as a guide in 2012. His knowledge of and passion for Egyptian history was unparalleled, but it's really his personality that makes him stand out. He's so incredibly friendly and warm; you can't help but enjoying spending time with him. We've kept in touch since the trip and would love to travel with him again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mahmoud to anyone. If you have an opportunity to travel with him, do it. You will not regret it.

I had the pleasure to take a tour of Egypt with friends led by Mahmoud Gebril. We were a small group with some physical limitations and specific requests. We had done our homework before the trip and wanted to explore some specific sites. Mahmoud made it all happen with logistics that worked for us and outstanding accommodations. Everything went smoothly thanks to his organization. His knowledge of Egyptian history, culture, and architecture was outstanding. He constantly kept our interest and could answer all of our questions. And to top it all off his friendliness and warmth made this trip wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend his tours.

Travelling with Mahmoud All issues of travel are expertly and efficiently overseen by Mahmoud, who seems to know everyone everywhere we go. You instantly feel that you are in the hands of the premier guide with inside connections and knowledge of each site visited. Somehow he navigates the sites so you seem to have the place to yourself and the optimal vantage points for the narrative he delivers to make history come alive. A deep knowledge of the history of his people overlaid with his sense of timing and drama make travelling with Mahmoud a memorable experience. Mahmoud is much more than a “travel guide” . The history and politics as well as art and culture of Egypt are the substances from which he weaves a memorable and insightful look at the country he loves.

I had the pleasure of doing a multi-day tour down the Nile River with Mahmoud. We could not have asked for a better guide - always punctual, thoughtful, and going the extra mile to share unique Egyptian experiences with us. He is very knowledgeable and made the history come alive. It was a wonderful experience!

We would definitely use Osiris Tours for our next vacation. We used them to travel to Egypt and had the best tour guide. We saw so many wonderful things we cannot wait to someday go back when our children are older so they can share in the experience. Not only did we get to share in the culture, we learned so much. I would highly recommend them for your next trip.

My sister and I booked a private guided tour to Egypt in 2008. Our trip included a cruise of several days on the Nile with regular stops in several archaeological sites. Mahmoud was the guide who accompanied us during the cruise. He was highly professional and very knowledgeable. He was capable of explaining the history of ancient Egyptian sites in a detailed and passionate way and was able to tailor his description according to our interests. He was also very warm (basically felt like a family member), always in a good mood, and willing to go out of his way to help and make us feel comfortable. I highly recommend Mahmoud because he is one of those persons who work out of passion and who therefore strives to deliver the best possible result and make his customers very happy. We will definitely get in touch with him again when the time comes for us to go on another middle eastern trip.

My husband and I were in Egypt about 8 years ago and Mahmoud was our tour guide. We were with him for about 7 days and went all over Egypt together. He did an outstanding job! He is knowledgeable, professional and personable. He can easily adjust and customize a tour based on the needs of the client. He made our trip so much fun and we learned a great deal from him. He truly is an expert in his field. We are planning to take many more trips with him. We have been lucky enough to travel quite a bit around the world and have had many tour guides. Mahmoud is the absolute best and we highly recommend a trip with him!
