Hello Mary, Thanks for your product review. If you got a broken pump, please call us so that we can send you a replacement product. Call us at 888-507-4332. Sometimes the pumps can be tricky until you have used them a few times. Here is a link to a photo description, showing, step-by-step how to align the pump head and neck. https://www.optividahealth.com/apps/help-center#!hc-how-to-use-the-pump-on-the-bottle By the way, we have explored replacing the pump. Most of the other choices have more customer complaints than the one we are using. Either they pop open and leak in shipping or they clog up easily. We will keep looking for a great replacement.
