Ariel - thank you for the stars!

Options Income Academy (OIA) is the home of The Flyagonal -- a family of proprietary options strategies developed by founder Steve Ganz. Using multiple AI technologies alongside decades of real-market experience, Steve developed The Flyagonal system -- which takes well-established options structures like butterflies and time spreads and combines them in a way that dramatically accelerates theta decay, the mechanism that turns time into money. The result: traders spend significantly less time exposed to market risk and reach their profit targets faster. Three distinct Flyagonal variants give traders the flexibility to engineer income across different market conditions.OIA offers two course packages designed for different experience levels. The Flyagonal Strategy Pack is built for traders starting from scratch -- it begins with Options Trading for Beginners, moves through Deep Dive Butterfly and Deep Dive Calendars and Diagonals, and culminates in the 14+ hour Flyagonal Deep Dive Course. The Flyagonal Focus Pack is built for experienced traders who are already familiar with butterflies, calendars, and diagonals and want to learn how to properly combine them for Flyagonal-level results -- it dives straight into the Flyagonal course itself. Both packages include 90 days of access to the OIA Alert Service and the Options Traders Assistant (OTA) software package. The Alert Service lets students see the Flyagonal applied live and in real time, ask questions as each trade unfolds, and learn by watching the process in action -- it's a training ground where course knowledge meets live market application, not a substitute for learning the strategy. The Options Traders Assistant comes loaded with Flyagonal templates so traders can build, analyze, enter, and manage trades quickly and easily. Both the Alert Service and Options Traders Assistant can be extended beyond the initial 90 days for a small fee.The Flyagonal system has produced a documented 96%+ win rate across nearly a y

Whew! A lot of work, but well worth it. I'm a beginner and this is what I needed. I took the entire package, from beginner to Flyagonal to Wheel. Plenty of detail and great explanations. Not only that, but the instructor (Steve) answered all my questions quickly! Thanks Steve!

Highly appreciated with the training that I got from Option Income Academy, option basics to Calendars & Diagonals, to multileg strategies like Fly and Condor. Also I had the privileged to learn the complex trades like Flyagonal too. Steve is an excellent trainer; he prepares his lessons carefully and express the complex subjects very clearly. Before this, I attended several classes on option trading, but none was related with the managing an option strategy. Steve, with his long term trading experience, made it very clear how to manage a position when things go south. Highly recommend all of his trainings.

Emre - thank you so very much for your kind review. I strive hard to simplify the tougher concepts in options trading, and I very much appreciate knowing when I'm hitting those targets. Thanks again.

I followed Steve (via Youtube) for at least half a year. I have trading experience and use a trade similar to the FlyD (aka Flydagonal), but structured differently. But it wasn't "the" trade, just "a" trade, which failed regularly. So, I was intrigued that someone worked out mechanics and trade plan for the trade to make a clear winner. I started course after the big SPX run-up of April-May 2026 (+1300 points in 1.5 month). I took a few losses during that time, and sat disorganized and unsure, having a "trader's block". That's when, I thought, I need a good mentorship and good trading plans, to not be afraid of occasional losses and power forward with a solid strategy. One thing I immediately noticed with the course is that it's a lonely place. There was no chat or forum to let students communicate among themselves and with the mentor in a clearly visible manner (e.g. to avoid repeatedly asking the same question - one person asks, other can see it). The only way to communicate was to leave comments at the particular lesson, with Steve replying to them, but that's not that level of visibility at all. Next thing which I noticed is that some matters are omitted in the lessons, e.g. the question of the max loss on different variants of Flyagonal. But the most important thing, the course didn't offer a complete trade plan. Like, it offered discussion of mechanics, catalog of adjustments, and some other guidelines, but not a complete plan to consistently enter trades and deal with losing trades, to actually stay on the positive side of PnL. I thought that practical part would clear that up, and activated the Alerts Service. Turned out to be more lively place, with an active forum where participants and Steve himself regularly posted. That alone made it better value than the course itself. Next thing, I noticed that Steve still runs trades started during the big run-up, started from end-April to mid-May. I had similar trades and closed them for reasonable loss weeks ago. Steve kept fighting them, leading to close to max losses. There were no new trades for a while. I asked, free Youtube videos promised 4-5 trades, where are they? The response was: look, there're trades. Those losing trades started weeks ago and bleeding to max loss. Then, there's an PYPL wheel. If you remember, there was PYPL crash months before, I joined, and Steve got caught with it. In his list, that trade still takes up a slot, so you can't trade something new with it active. Then, finally a trade. Profitable trade. Closed for gross $80 profit in a day or two. That's when I learned that the stats provided by Steve actually don't include full commission costs. He counts some $0.25 per leg, which aren't true cost even for him, and for most people, it's $1.5+ per leg, so from $80 gross profit, you actually retain ~$50. Then there were more trades. Some profitable up to $200 or so. Some - and regularly - problematic, taking a lot of time, leading to losses. Over time, the pattern became clear - a problematic trade takes "slot" for long time, blocking new trades from being started. Then when bad trade is finally over, in a twist of "trader's luck", a newly started one also becomes problematic. Then vicious cycle repeats. So, I found myself in the same dreadful situation I was before taken the course: the bad trades prevailed, there was indecisiveness/fear (or bad planning if you want) to open new trades while the bad were running, and there was no trade plan to guide re: what's right and what's wrong. I provided feedback to Steve to address the problems described above, TrustPilot review limits don't let me got into details, bu they were: a) Add forum for the course itself - the only which was done; b) Release JSON data for previous analysis to help with community analysis; c) run paper trade campaigns towards establishing a trade plan. The last 2 were downplayed/ignored/rejected. My conclusions based on 3-month experience: * Flyagonal is highly risky strategy, requiring special tools to be successful * Based on watching Steve's trading and working, I don't think he has good enough idea of what he's doing * I didn't learn much - the course lacks crucial parts to apply strategy successfully, and the practice shows the same anti-patterns as I already knew - lack of clear plan, indecisiveness/blockage by bad trades, not enough repetitions to come to statistical edge (if it exists). * There's that feeling, when you know, you want to buy something expensive, e.g. a timeshare, when you're courted, provided with a lot of bright information and attention, but all turn much more bleak once you actually paid money. It may be ok for Steve to do it the way he does, but as a paying customer, I'm dissatisfied, and I wanted to share details with other interested parties, so they can assess themselves.

Thank you for taking the time to write this out in detail. I'd rather have specific, honest criticism than silence, and much of what you describe is a fair account of your three months. Let me be straight about the part you have right. Performance did fall off significantly. From August of last year through April, I was opening three to five new trades a week and most were closing at profit targets within one to two days — at one point, 31 winners in a row. I said publicly at the time that a streak like that would not hold up. What I did not expect was how hard it would fall off. When SPX ran 1,300 points in about six weeks without a pullback, I held struggling trades too long, trying to work them toward a reduced loss or back to profitability. Sometimes that worked. Often it did not. I am not going to pretend otherwise. I strive to always keep my courses updated with current findings and in fact I have updated the Flyagonal course TWICE so far and working on another update that I hope to have out in 2-3 months analyzing the drawdown and offering additional insights - this is updated in every course at NO ADDITIONAL COST. So I do strive to provide my latest findings any time I can. Two important corrections to your statements. My published stats are calculated at $0.95 per contract per leg, not $0.25. Your net will differ if your broker charges more, but the results are not built on a token commission assumption. And on the community: you asked for one, and I built it. First of all purchasers of Flyagonal Packages got 90 days of alerts community included, but beyond that I set up a separate community that is permanently free for every Flyagonal owner — that was at your suggestion, and it has been live for a few weeks now. As far as tracking/reporting - Every trade I have ever taken is in the community: the opening orders, every adjustment, the close, the actual orders as they were placed, and a video explaining why I did what I did at the time. I also provide updated flyagonal results at least 1 time per month in my youtube channel where I show the latest stats (including drawdown) to all. I would not call the trade Highly Risky - it is a defined risk trade and if made in SPY it can be sized down to about $150 in total risk, in SPX one lot it is about $1,500 in maximum risk. On your request for me to do daily paper trades in the community - i did not and still do not see any value in that for most people. I was trading live and publishing all of it, and opening a paper trade every day would have added confusion and a flood of notifications for everyone in the community. Not to mention that every day is not necessarily conducive to opening trades (paper or live). Any trader who wants to paper trade is free to, and I'd encourage it. I am sorry it did not come together for you, and I mean that. I would rather you find what works for you than win an argument about it. If you ever want to talk any of it through, the door is open.

I purchased the complete package from Options Income Academy, and it's been the best investment I've made with any trading platform. Steve stands out in two ways. First, he can genuinely teach. I've been through his butterfly classes, his calendar classes, and his flyagonal classes, and all three are excellent. He explains things clearly and never skips the why. The butterfly classes showed me how a position is actually built and where the risk really sits. The calendar classes are what finally made time value click for me. And the flyagonal classes have been the game changer it's the piece I use the most, and it gave me a repeatable process instead of guessing. Second — and this is what you don't get on most platforms — the access. Steve is there, and he responds. Good trading days and bad ones, he's a hundred percent transparent. You see what works and what doesn't, and it feels like he's in the market with you the whole time rather than handing you a video and disappearing. If you want to learn the mechanics instead of chasing signals, this is the right place.

Todd, thank you so very much for your review. I do sincerely appreciate it, and I very much appreciate you calling out my transparency and willingness to respond quickly and timely. Those are really my top goals: providing good level education and being available when it's important. Thank you again.

The marketing videos make the Flyagonal strategy sound simple and profitable, but it's actually very complex, frustrating and unprofitable. After 2 months of trading this strategy, I have executed 7 of the alerted trades and lost money on 6 of the 7 trades. I could not enter 2 other trades because I was working. I have stopped entering the alerted trades so I can stop the bleeding. The strategy is complex (6-8 legs) and therefore almost all of the entries require 1-2 adjustments (2-3 tries) to get filled, just to enter the trade. Then when trades go against you, you have to adjust them again. The adjustments sometimes take multiple tries to execute. The same goes for the exits, they require 1-2 adjustments (2-3 tries) just to exit the trade. I can't constantly monitor whether the entries or exits are filled and adjust them multiple times on both entry and exit. The timing of the entries, adjustments and exits is crucial to the profitability of this strategy.

Thank you for sharing your experience, John. I want to address this honestly and directly. First, on the suggestion that I delete critical comments: I'd encourage anyone to scroll the comments on my YouTube channel and judge for themselves. Pointed criticism and tough questions are all over it, much of it with my replies underneath — engaging that is the whole point of what I do. In fact, your own original comment is still sitting right there on my channel today. YouTube's own systems automatically filter and hold some comments, which no creator controls, but removing honest feedback has never been how I operate. The Flyagonal is a defined-risk, multi-leg options strategy. It is not marketed as simple — it requires a working knowledge of calendars, diagonals, and broken wing butterflies, which is clearly stated as a prerequisite in the course description. For traders who have that foundation and take the time to learn the structure, it has produced strong, documented results over time. What is also true is that the past two months have been one of the most challenging stretches in recent memory for any theta-positive, delta-neutral strategy — not just the Flyagonal, but condors, butterflies, and calendars across the board. The S&P 500 gained roughly 15% in that same two-month window, which is a historically significant and unusual move. No range-bound strategy is designed to thrive in that environment, and I have said exactly that publicly on my YouTube channel every single week. There is no mystery here and nothing hidden. I also want to address the claim that the Flyagonal is an unprofitable strategy — that is simply not accurate. John has access to the complete trade history and performance data inside the alert service. The documented results across the full trade history tell a very different story, and that includes transparently reporting the recent losing trades as well. Furthermore, drawing a conclusion about a strategy's profitability from seven trades during one of the most extreme two-month market runs in recent history is not a statistically valid basis for that judgment, and most experienced traders will recognize that immediately. In the same period John was trading, our alert service recorded 3 losses out of 7 trades — more than our historical average, for sure, but consistent with what this market has done to every premium-selling approach. John has shared that he experienced 6 losses out of 7, and also that he was unable to enter several trades due to work schedule conflicts and that he had difficulty monitoring positions in real time. The Flyagonal does require attention at entry and a twice daily check-in during management — that is accurate and also disclosed in all promotional materials, and it is also why the course covers variable trades such as longer days-to-expiration approaches specifically designed for traders who cannot monitor positions daily. The alert service exists as a live learning tool, not a signal service to follow blindly and mechanically. The goal of the alerts has always been for members to learn the strategy deeply enough to trade it independently, on their own schedule, with full confidence in the structure. I am sorry this experience did not work out as John had hoped, but the results he describes reflect a combination of an extraordinarily difficult market environment and execution challenges that the course material is specifically designed to help traders overcome — by using alternate variations and DTEs for the strategy. I found Steve and his OIA while looking for quality options training. I already knew the basics, using cash secured puts, covered calls, and LEAPS to support my active portfolio management. What I wanted was a separate options only bucket to lift my annual return. I took the full package. I started with Options Trading for Beginners, then moved to the Deep Dive Butterfly and Deep Dive Calendars/Diagonals courses, and recently finished Deep Dive Flyagonal. Over the past four months, the courses and Steve's Options Income Alert service have changed how I understand options and what I expect from the markets. The courses are well structured, and Steve answers every question quickly. I have learned more from following his live trades and talking with him than from the training on its own. The best part: the first two live trades I opened, a FlyB and a FlyD, already paid back my investment. I now plan to make Flyagonals the main driver of my options income. I have spent thousands of dollars on training over the last ten years. What set OIA apart is that it took me from a beginner to a trader with a real plan. If you are serious about options trading, join the OIA community.

I have been trading for over 15 years now. Moved from day trading small caps to large caps for the first 5 years. Then started the options education with TD Ameritrade with their excellent “coaches” and it was fine with acceptable performance. I learned the basics; verticals, diagonals, butterflies, condors, synthetics, etc.. I first started to follow Steve a few years ago on his contribution for OptionStrat. I followed his weekly reviews as well as his trade ideas posts and learned a lot from him. The flyagonal strategy made me nervous at first but last month I decided to pay for the course and plunged. Finished it today. The course is simple to follow, logical, clearly illustrated and it covers almost any question one could raise. The Alert Service he provides is also clearly laid out and will only make sense when the entire course is covered. I paper traded last month’s trades and it is clear that the win rate will be improved compared to my previous performance. I look forward to having a SWAN (Sleep Well At Night) experience with the SPX flyD strategy with few daily adjustments at the end of each trading day. I highly recommend the courses for anyone seeking a reputable trader offering a solid strategy that has been proven and tested out. Another point worth mentioning, Steve is very quick at responding to any email or query.
