I should’ve read the reviews before contacting these guys. I have a 2019 Raptor 426-TS in great condition that I want to sell. As much as we’ve enjoyed it, our circumstances have changed and hauling an RV is not in the future for us. I saw online that they bought RVs for cash, so I submitted an inquiry on a Sunday, not expecting to hear back until the next day. Meghan responded almost immediately and asked relevant questions about the RV. She asked what we were asking and I told her we could start at 50k but to feel free to counter. She came back with 25k. I asked if 30k was doable and she said she would have to check with upper management. She let me know on Monday that management had denied 30k. I asked if 25k was still on the table (it’s been less than 24 hours since the 25k quote), and she replied that now it was 21k. I asked to speak with her and she called me. I let her know that I would take the 21k, but I needed the week to clear and clean. She asked for a copy of the title and our drivers licenses- which I emailed. She then called back and stated the buy out was now 15k. I thanked her for her time, but made it clear we were not moving forward. Obviously these folks haven’t heard about good faith negotiations. My advice to anyone looking to sell their RV- skip over this outfit and keep looking. You’re going nowhere when you’re standing in quick sand.

BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE!! “
Optimum RV where we turn your camping dreams into a nightmare.”
We purchased a 2008 40’ Class A Motorhome from Optimum RV in March of 2026. The process was grueling, time consuming and very frustrating. With the exception of two salesman, one whom continues to this day to maintain his integrity, NO ONE demonstrated proper, honest and timely communication including: management, finance, service, and tag/title. There was no warning posted in this unit we were interested in and test drove, that disclosed the defective 4 in 1 airbrake gauge, a critical part of the braking system. Even during the negotiations they still didn’t disclose this crucial information, that we found out Service knew about at the time it was traded back in. Instead the “closer” PUSHED the sale, PUSHED the contract and collected our deposit still without disclosing this very important information. We finally received a call on the way to our first “take delivery” appointment that there was an important part that was needed but would take 6-8 weeks to arrive, a huge inconvenience to us and the first indication of their deceptive practices. It’s a very long story here, but WE actually found the part needed and had it delivered to them within the week.
An hour out from our second “take delivery” appointment we received a call from financing confirming we were bringing a cashiers check with the final amount, an amount that was even unbeknownst to him at that time, another questionable practice.
We purchased their $3500 “Camp Ready” process that DOES NOT include a thorough safety check; you are on your own for batteries, fluids, tires, brakes, stabilizer bars/bushings and other chassis components. WE had to do the safety inspection and then we had to fight for/negotiate for some very necessary repairs. The “Camp Ready” process only includes: working appliances, heating/AC, plumbing, roof inspection (not necessarily proper repairs), lighting, and full indoor/outdoor cleaning. It also includes a thorough, very lengthy walk through, however for us being brand new to the RV world, we were paired with a wonderful man, that admitted he was a trailer guy and didn’t have the knowledge needed for a proper walk through, which left us asking the questions in the brief walk-through and then learning everything on the fly.
Eventually, we arrived at our third, very disappointing and anti-climactic “take delivery” appointment. We jumped through all their very drawn out final hoops, and waited for a lengthy amount of time in the parking lot for our temporary tag, which WE ultimately had to hunt down and attach ourselves.
Finally, we had negotiated in the contractual meetings for Optimum RV to register our motorhome in our home state of NY. A month went by and we had to contact them for another set of temporary plates, as we hadn’t received the permanent ones, nor any update as to where they were at with them. Yet, another month went by with still no communication from the title/tag department and no returns of our many calls. We finally reached someone we were told was a supervisor, that informed us after two months that they don’t do out of state registrations; when we insisted it was in the contract which they agreed to at that time, she replied that we needed to send them another $200. Two days before our temporary plates were expired for the third time, we received a Fed Ex package in the mail which included the FL title, a check reimbursement for tag/title and other paperwork needed for a DIY NY registration. No letter of apology or any sort of communication was included. We find it very suspicious, as Daytona Dodge in a timely, professional manner had no issues registering our Jeep in NY state.
All this said, if we hadn’t found everything we were looking for in this very first motorhome purchase, we would have RUN after the first, very deceptive action. We have completed many repairs since purchase, but absolutely love our new motorhome. However, we will NOT be returning to Optimum RV for any further purchases and we strongly advise you to NOT patronize this very shady and deceptive dealer.

Would rate a 0 star if possible
Let me preface this by saying we have now been trying to contact someone within Optimum RV for 2 1/2 weeks in hopes to have these issues addressed prior to writing this review, but after calling NUMEROUS times we either cannot reach someone, or the person who answers is unable to help and "will have the person we need to speak to call us back"...which never happens.
We initially contacted Optimum RV on May 6th regarding a unit at the PA location, we spoke with the salesman Rob at that time, who was quite helpful. We put a deposit on the unit that day, and in speaking with him we asked if before pick up the tires could be thoroughly checked, as we had a 3.5 hour ride home on them and needed them to be reliable. He ensured us that their inspector would look over everything.
We picked up the unit the following Tuesday May 12. At pick up we were made aware that there was an issue with the oven range, but they assured us they would contact the manufactured and get one on order for us(we still have not received the new part or any communication regarding the part). We also at pick up reiterated our need for reliable tires as we had quite a drive to get it back home, even pointing out that the tires did appear to have some visible dry rot and stating we would be willing to purchase new tires from them and have them installed if necessary. Again their inspector blew us off stating there was nothing wrong with the tires, he has determined that they passed PA inspection and GUARANTEED(his exact words) that the tires would get us where we needed to go.
Fast forward one hour into the drive home....tire blows out on the side of a major highway with chunks actually coming up and damaging the underside of the camper… Leaving us with a car full on the side of the interstate to change the blowout to get us back on the road, using our only spare tire.
Hour two into our trip tire #2 blows, doing MORE damage to the camper...at this point we are still over an hour from our destination and have no spare tire. We were stuck on the side of the highway for over an hour waiting for a family friend to purchase another tire and drive it out to us. What should have been a 3.5 hour drive ended up taking over 6 HOURS all because of tires that we questioned and were assured were fine....once we finally made it home and checked the tires that blew out we noticed that they had a DOT manufacture date of 2016, making them not only 10 years old, but also 3 years OLDER than the unit we purchased!!
We had hoped to get the part from them that we were promised, and reach a resolution regarding the rest of our experience but we can't even get a call back! At this point I would recommend going anywhere but here if you are looking to purchase an RV, new or used. Their actions(of lack thereof) have shown us how little they truly value their customers.

I was given a high price for repairs to…
I was given a high price for repairs to the trailer then when told I could not pay that, the only option I had was to pick it up and sell it on my own. I could not do that. End result? One hundred dollars for a 2017 trailer with new theater seats and working appliances. I dealt with 4 people all having different information and no return calls. They are awful human beings.

They begged me to delete my original negative review by promising to provide an exceptional experience selling my camper on consignment but failed so here it is. After going up and back for over a month to have them sell my camper on consignment, I finally gave in. I was convinced that it was going to be sold at a certain price and was told they only make money on the financing part. Instead, they listed it significantly higher and it was the highest priced one in the entire country. It was not priced to sell. The contract expired and I had to go pick it up. When I went to pick up the unit, there were parts missing. Service said they probably put them on another camper to sell. While they did take off the missing parts from someone else's camper to give to me, this is unacceptable. Not only did they waste my time and money, they gave false promises. DO NOT buy anything from this place.

Horrible service center.
We recently purchased an RV from Optimum RV on Tallahassee, and while there were some positives, the overall experience was overshadowed by significant issues with their service department.
To start, their inventory is excellent, and they offer a wide selection. Our salesman, Clay, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being pushy. Ryan, who handled our walkthrough, was also very thorough and helpful. She took the time to answer our questions and quickly found answers when needed. The sales and walkthrough portions of the experience were handled well.
Unfortunately, everything after that has been extremely frustrating.
We purchased the RV on a Saturday and scheduled pickup for the following Friday. When we arrived, we waited approximately four hours because the unit was not ready as promised. This should not happen with a scheduled pickup.
Additionally, items we paid to have installed—including a Bluetooth trailer system and cameras—were not properly completed. We were told the remaining components would be mailed to us. More than 30 days later, we are still dealing with repeated back-and-forth trying to resolve this, with no clear resolution.
Despite multiple phone calls, emails, and text messages, we have struggled to get consistent responses, and the issue remains unresolved.
On top of that, our tag has still not arrived.
The lack of follow-through, communication, and accountability from the service department has been unacceptable. What should have been an exciting purchase has instead turned into an ongoing hassle.
While the sales team did a great job, the service department needs serious improvement. At this point, it’s difficult to recommend Optimum RV based on our experience after the sale.

Wish I could give this dealer a ZERO star
If I could give this dealer a ZERO star, I would. This dealership sold us a 2022 Heritage Glen trailer. I really loved that the trailer had a larger kitchen, and a king size bed. They sold us on protection plans for paint, fabric, along with the entire vehicle protection plan, a total of 4263.50.
Last year, the roof had a leak, along with other items that needed to be fixed. Because we live 6 hours away from the dealer, we had to make hotel arrangements and board our 4 dogs for a day.
When we arrived at their facility, around 10 in the morning, we could smell a strong odor of marijuana on the outside, as well as the inside of their main building. We should've stopped right there and left.
Needless to say, nothing was covered on the protection plans they sold us, except the kitchen faucet that didn't work, which was a 20.00 item, and we had to pay for the shipping. The total bill came out to almost 1800.00.
This past week, we took out the trailer for a few days and there was a hard rain. There were leaks in three different places that we could see. The leak in the shower damaged the trim and the trim has swelled up and we'll need to replace it, along with the vinyl covering. They charged us $748.35 to seal the roof. Obviously, it wasn't repaired.
Think twice before you go to this dealer. They do not stand up to their warranty and the quality of work they provide is a disgrace.
