Contacted for an interview about my skills and background, they gave me a data/time for a phone screening but they never called, even when I emailed back

I am sharing this review because I genuinely wish someone had warned me about my experience before I invested my time, effort, and energy into working with OptimHire. I worked with them based on payment terms that were communicated to me. The payment arrangement was also discussed and confirmed during a Google Meet on 14 June 2024, attended by Mahfujul Haque, Khadija, and Simran. I subsequently carried out the work relying on those terms. What has been extremely frustrating and disappointing is what happened when it came time to receive my hard-earned payment. Instead of simply addressing the outstanding payment, the company has now taken the position that: “There is no contract or signed agreement between both parties.” This is incredibly frustrating because the terms were communicated to me when I was onboarded, the payment arrangement was discussed with their representatives, and their own employee later confirmed the ₹50-per-resume payment arrangement with me in writing. Even more concerning was my experience with communication after the dispute arose. Based on my experience, communication with some of the company’s employees became extremely difficult, and I have communications that I understand to show that employees were instructed to stop communicating with me. I was also made aware of warnings concerning possible legal action if they continued communicating with me. In my experience, some employees ultimately stopped responding or blocked me. Imagine putting in your time and effort, completing the work expected of you, and then having to chase the company for the money you believe you were promised — only to be told that there was supposedly no agreement. That has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. My advice to anyone considering working with them: make sure you keep every email, agreement, payment term, chat, meeting record, invoice, resume submission record, and any other communication from day one. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances or informal communications. For me, this experience has resulted in significant frustration and a loss of trust. I sincerely hope others do not have to go through the same experience. Think very carefully before committing your time and effort. Your time, work, and peace of mind are valuable.

Optimhire was my first venture into the corporate world, they gave me an opportunity to prove myself when I was a fresher. I started out in a mere sales role and in 3.5 years I became a Product Manager. Not only is this company making a difference for candidates, but for clients and referral partners as well! Our Job Auto-Applier is helping candidates land job interviews much faster by filling out 100s of job applications for them automatically! I'm excited to continue my journey here.

I really think this company is a scam company. A recruiter cold-contacted me asking me to fill in my professional experience. The job that was referenced did not match my skills at all. The information that she asked for could have easily been answered by a resume which she did not request. I asked the recruiter to give me a link to her LinkedIn profile. She said she would not provide this as "We usually don't provide links to our linked in profiles". But her questionnaire was asking for my LinkedIn info.

🚫 Caution: Misleading Practices We were initially approached by this company with the promise of payment for every resume uploaded and additional incentives upon candidate selection. Based on these assurances from the founders and sales team, we uploaded over 2 lakh resumes. However, to date, we have not received a single payment. After candidates are selected, their status is often changed in the system in a way that prevents vendors or recruiters from claiming their commissions. This behavior raises serious concerns about transparency and integrity. It appears the platform is being used primarily for data collection from consultancies and freelance recruiters under false promises. We strongly advise others to verify the company's credibility and payment history before engaging in any collaboration.

I've been trying to get in touch with Optim Hire's Success Manager, Mustafa, for the past two days with no response. Despite multiple attempts, including booking a demo, no one showed up or followed up afterward. The lack of communication and accountability is disappointing. For a platform that positions itself as a hiring solution, the unresponsiveness raises serious concerns about their support and reliability. Scraped my details from the internet, created an account without my permission, then started sending me unsolicited spam emails. Shady company.

This is a spam/scam company, they spam 3 of my email accounts and I've never signed up with them.
