I had a great experience with OPT! Telescopes have been on consistent backorder since the summer due to supply chain delays, new pandemic hobbyists, and the recent convergence. I knew that going in because I researched before I made the purchase. I spoke with Ron about the best beginner accessories to go with my husband’s new telescope. He was really friendly and helpful. The accessories he recommended were reasonably priced and nothing too obtuse. I know it’ll be awhile before we receive the telescope, but it will be well worth the wait!

Purchased a new Radian Raptor 61, and although it was on delay due to demand it arrived perfectly and is an amazing wide field refractor to image with! OPT customer support kept me notified along the entire process. Would definitely purchase from again.

Staff (Jason) was incredibly helpful in my purchase of a mount that had been out of stock (skywatcher eq6r) by informing me the minute it was received so that I could get it before a mountain cabin trip that is to take place in March (2021) This was after I errantly purchased another out of stock item (the eqm35), I was promptly refunded my money on the OOS item. I would definitely do business with them again.
