Tech was late
Tech was late. Never got starlink to work. Didn't want to mount it where it had a clear view. Complete waste of time.

Not a trustworthy company. They would not refund over $1100 and the customer service is so terrible I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company and it took 3 months. Simply terrible.

If I could give 0 stars I would for OnTech. We were scheduled to have a technician come out and install our StarLink. Tech shows up to our house and stayed around 15 minutes. He said that he needed to go back and get a taller ladder. He said he would go get the ladder and be back. The issue is the tech leaves and does not come back. After waiting 3 hours, we called in and the dispatcher (who was nice) said the tech had put in a request to reschedule once he left our house. We were never notified. Also we attempted to call the tech a few times prior to calling the customer service number, but he would not respond. We had his direct number from where he had called confirming he was on his way. We understand things happen but due to no communication we ended up missing 2 important appointments that afternoon. The lack of communication was horrible. Would not recommend.

OnTech technician installed a Simplisafe system 3 days ago. The old modem failed 2 days ago, so had to purchase another modem/router from ISPN provide, Cox. I've updated the WIFI network on the Base Station but devices don't work, as the security settings were incompatible. After hours of chat with OnTech, Simplisafe, and Cox, I had to pay OnTech $160 for another installation - much frustrating.

Absolutely terrible company. They charged $150.00 to come out and diagnosis the system. Then wrongly diagnosis’s it and told me to buy all this other equipment that was going to fix it. This cost an additional $432.00. Then the system not work. I have gotten the run around for a week now. It’s impossible to get anyone to help you. You can't even get your invoice for work they claim to have completed. Then ask for a supervisor and no one calls you. When after a week goes by and still no call, I told them I was going to file a dispute with Visa and finally someone called me back only to tell me that it was my fault the system didn’t work. Do not use this company. Dishonest and nasty.

We scheduled an appointment with OnTech to have our cameras installed more than three weeks in advance, only to be notified just two hours before the scheduled appointment that it had been canceled without any reasonable explanation. The customer service representatives were not properly trained to handle customer inquiries. We were repeatedly placed on hold and transferred from one representative to another before we were finally able to request a refund. This was an extremely disappointing experience. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and last-minute cancellation were unacceptable. Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this company.

This appointment was an absolute failure by ANY measure or metric. First, my appointment was delayed three hours. This seemed like a common occurrence by the representatives I interacted with. Next, the technician seemed to have no real idea of how to do her job. She placed sensor after sensor without even wiping the surface. As a result all three of the motion sensors she placed in my house fell off the wall within 48 hours of her placing them. She placed an entry sensor on the outdoor, dust-covered surface of my back door. I expect it to fall soon as well. Lastly, I paid for a professional installation of an outdoor camera which she informed me was simply placing two screws into the mount and then plugging it in. Wiring it in to the wall was a whole separate charge and would require another appointment. At that point, I said not to worry about the outdoor camera and please just finish up as I had to walk my dogs. I had delayed their walk due to waiting for this thrice postponed appointment. She said okay and offered to refund the extra fee for the camera. I said fine and she left. My system was not finished being setup or initialized. I had to figure out how to do that after she left. All said, I paid $200 or so for an unfinished task a child could have accomplished with more success.
