When I bought my 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche, I subscribed to Onstar. It worked beautifully until last year when my vehicle could no longer connect to the new system so I was offered Onstar Guardian using an app. It is horrible. I keep getting knocked out of the system. What a disappointment!!!!

I pay for the premium package to notify me if my car is being broken in to My car window was broken. They then opened the doors and stole a large quantity of items I did not receive a notification from Onstar. After several phone calls on my part they said it's a faulty alarm See your dealership. Dealership tested it in several ways and our alarm system was working fine They even printed a report to give to Onstar. Again I called and was basically told they weren't interested in seeing the report. The woman was rude and I've cancelled my Onstar Waste of money

Piece of junk. I keep blocking their calls, they just use a different phone to call. Must have BLOCKED six onstar calls in the last few months. Plus, when I bought my new buick, I was FORCED to hear a sale presentation before the deal was complete. I wouldn't use on star for all the tea in China.

This is a total scam. All services are overpriced. Got a 3GB data plan and after 2 days I called OnStar and the representative said that my data was over. After 2 days they said that I used 3gb for maps and Spotify. THIS IS INSANE!

Useless what more can I say... they took my money for wifi in my cadillac escalade but never got the wifi which I need for my 5 year old son for a road trip...5 calls to them with zero results on a connection..

My husbands GMC 2021 Denali was stolen at a restaurant. After 2 days, Onstar stops attempting to locate or ping the vehicle even after getting monthly payments for services! Unfortunately the thieves are smarter than Onstar!

OnStar makes it extremely inconvenient to cancel your policy. You cannot do it from your account management page. You have to either call the company or do it through a live-chat. The rep you are connected with either over the phone or in the chat space will try to sell you different plans, and you'll have to tell them multiple times "I just want to cancel my plan". It's extremely predatory.
