OnStar By GMReviews of onstar.com

Complete waste of money. Every feature is in ford for free. Had free premium for a month with new vehicle purchase. Waste of money. Only thing you get that isn't free with ford is wifi. But your map uses all 3g data in one week. With Android auto in ford my map was free. Save your money don't buy it. I recommend buying ford if you want all the smart features and safe 50$ a month

They do Santa tracking by pushing the blue button during the holidays. They advertise it like it this great thing. We push it and one person did pretty well talking to the kids. The others act like they are put out and even give you attitude. What a joke onstar.

I wish I would have never bought my car I bought a brand new Corvette and I really wish I could take it back I get calls from the dealership every single day wanting me to hook up my OnStar because they keep talking about getting some bonus because of it I bought $100,000 car and now all I do is get harassed I get calls from OnStar every other day I told them to remove me from their call list and the dealership keeps sending me text messages and calls If I would have known this I would have never bought the car just because this OnStar is so ridiculous nobody is interested in it if they were they would reach out stop harassing people and pushing a product where everywhere you look everywhere on the internet that's got thousands of one star reviews literally OnStar makes me never want to buy another vehicle with it again.

Onstar is awful. First time I tried to set it up they got my email typed in wrong. I've tried 6 times to call them get it fixed. I get cut off every time I call, last time cut off 3 times. Each time they try to walk me through getting it fixed. I have to go online in my account and try to link the one i created and the one they typed in wrong. And It never gets fixed, i never get an email or anything. They tell me they will escalate it and someone will call me in 3-5 days. I never get a call. Been dealing with it since June.

Have had numerous problems over the years. This is the last straw. They continued to bill me for a Gm Truck traded in for another GM truck 3 vehicles ago. When I noticed and called it in they offered me $135.67 as a "one time good will gesture" they should refund me $497.09. Since I have called numerous times and have asked to escalate to a manager. Total call waiting time just over three hours. On hold again now. 40 years of buying GM?? that ends now.

If I've Ever regretted buying anything it would be my 2024 GMC 3500 At4. You would think spending over 100k it would be reliable. Nope. 171 miles in shop. At 900 miles The LED lighting in front stopped working. I reach out to OnStar and you get connected to someone in India just to waste your time. They transfer me to a gal named Michelle. She was the rudest most ignorant person I've ever talked to in 50 years on this planet. Horrible. She's the deciding factor of why I will Never buy another gm product. Ever. After being hung up on I call back speak to another advisor. Nothing fixed. Still won't connect to my android, gps still cancels out of maps. Why do I pay 40.00 a month for junk, horrible customer service. Plus with new gm vehicles your forced to pay for OnStar Service.

Scam, third-party app trying to scam Chevy owners. Not the only one. No more Chevys for me

If I could give them no stars I would. Had to have our trucked towed, called On Star. First, the rep tells me they can only tow it 25 miles, our dealership is 34 miles. Great I’ll pay for the extra miles. Wait for tow service over an hour. Call back, now I have to pay $212 in Canadian dollars. What??? I live in USA! Rep puts me through to a Canada rep. I explain the situation, he is unable to transfer to US dollars. I cancel the tow and pay out of pocket to have truck towed. After seeing other reviews I will not be getting On Star after trial expires in January
