Truly awful app
Truly awful app. So buggy all the time, customer service is lacking, paying SO MUCH for a yearly subscription and can't even get it to function properly on a Sunday morning. What's the point?

Unauthorized charges despite cancelled subscription watch out - this looks really fraudulent; I can prove that my account with them as well as my apple subscription say that I cancelled half a year ago, nevertheless they keep drawing a monthly fee from me. So far no answer to my complaint...

Hello, I have been a user for a long time but have reached the point that I need another way to store my music and perform live other than this application. Periodically and more frequently, I open the application to find that my sticky notes, annotations, and icons disappear. Today I opened the application and all of them are gone. Just before a GIG is the worst. I have spent hours of work in this application over many years and now all of my work is gone. In addition, there is always a red indicator that my account needs attention. I enter the account, The only option is the Personal account arrow. It brings me to my personal account which is up to date and paid for. It offers a joint account arrow but I have no interest in a joint account. This was a great application that has disappointed me one time too many times to tolerate it anymore. Sincerely,
Steve S.
I've used this App for years, and it has become less and less easy to use for a multiple of the price. For those of us wanting a simple page turner, there has to be simpler and cheaper alternatives out there.

Don't buy this app unless you really need it!!! I've been using it for years now because of worse alternatives. The details are full of bugs, handling is not logic, and important features are only free in the premium version. A lot of money for nothing. My friend, prof. IT-expert, also user, said: "If I would design my apps that way, I would regularily have to pay fines to my business customers!"

I bought OnSong lifetime ownership for $25 years ago. In the beginning it was OK. Now it crashes all the time, has way too much unneeded functionality. I don't know what the issues are with OnSong's development team but they they are no longer producing a reliable or affordable product. OnSong crashed twice on stage and left egg on my face. There won't be a third time. I bought SongbookPro for $5 and have never looked back. SongBookPro is for serious working musicians who need an easy to use place to keep all there music and use it RELIABLY on stage. It is easy to write the songs in your favorite word processor. You do need to use a mono spaced font and no special hidden characters. I use Notepad++ With mono spaced fonts the text file drops right into SongBookPro no problems.

Do not use this crappy software. I purchased into the OnSong system a long time ago. We were led on that they were working an an Android version but they never produced one. We were told we would get lifetime upgrades. They stopped doing this a long time ago. Now they only supply security upgrades but no product upgrades. The price kept increasing and now is somewhere around 100 dollars. They want you to buy into their subscription plan so they keep making money forever. The developers are unable to keep up with all of the bugs that keep occurring. They blame Apple for changing the software which breaks their app. The real issue is they are trying to do TOO MUCH in one app. If you need an app to hold all of your song chord sheets, display them reliably, allow you to rekey the song on the fly and many other features then use SongBook Pro. It is cheaper more reliable and the developer is more responsive. ONSONG is now Paying people to give them a 5 star rating. They claim to be a religious app developer but they practice un-Christian like philosophy. They lie, they are immoral or unethical. You decide which it is for paying for a false reviews. Do Not trust this company. All they want is your money in a subscription. There are lots of other apps out there that are much better and reliable. Customer support is very difficult to get. They are so busy that it may take days to hear back from them. Read there Facebook site. People have lots of trouble reaching them and getting a reply. The software breaks down right when you need it most. If you gig professionally, use some one else's software
