I would give a negative star if I could. This company does not disclose who they are or where they are. They are inherently unethical. Many people, myself included, need a fax number but use it very little. This is the allure to this company. They offered me service for 25 pages a month for 2.99 with an assigned permanent phone number. However, their site failed to send the faxes over and over again telling me the number I was faxing to was "not approved". I have no idea what that means. I have used a fax service for better than 20 years, and never seen that statement before. The number I was trying to fax to was correct. No problem when I used another service. They list no telephone number to call them, they list no email address to email them, they offer no chat window, nothing, zilch. You can't find out what the problem is if you can't contact them. And when I went to cancel, they were unbelievable. Took me 2 hours to do this. It is not worth the few bucks in savings to deal with the frustration, not to mention if failed to work over half the time!

This "service" is a phishing scam. The supposed support phone numbers are not real. There is no place apparent to login, or to cancel. I fear I gave them personal info and they will sell it. STAY AWAY. SCAM!

Stay away from this company. There are so many hidden fees and policies. They purposely place the information in a space that is not in an obvious place to look. Then the customer service rep will get an attitude with you about it, saying it's on the website but it's not in a clear location. I think there website is designed to be deceptive and then they will not give you a refund.

I signed up to send a single fax because the service was presented as free or a trial. At no point during signup was it clearly disclosed that I was enrolling in a recurring subscription, or that it would cost around $20 per month, incl “compliance fees”. This is not a matter of reading more carefully. The pricing and recurring charges were not presented in a clear and obvious way during checkout. I only discovered the ongoing charges months later. When I contacted support, they refused any refund and pointed to their terms. Be very careful. This appears to be a misleading subscription setup.

This service is utilizing false advertising practices by charging "compliance fees" that are not disclosed during sign-up. The fee appears on your first bill, but does not state that it's a fee - just a line item presented as the same service. When you go to cancel, it progressively shows offers of lowering amounts, each promising "no hidden fees." Only upon contacting support do you learn that this is a compliance fee, which is referred to in their FAQ, they say. That page states, "What is the compliance regulatory fee? This fee helps cover costs imposed by government regulations, including the Federal Regulatory Fee, TRS, and more. It ensures we meet industry standards for security and compliance." There is no mention of when it applies, or how much. (Also not disclosed is how large of a file you can send.) The only positive thing about this company is their seemingly human chat support who have to deal with working for this company. They are refunding the full fees after requested. TBD if those actually appear in my account.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would... shady company, shady billing practices. I signed up for the $2.99 plan, and they were supposed to let me know when my free trial was going to run out... I didn't get notified. So I thought I'd be billed $2.99... no, they billed me $4.99 and then a $16 surcharge, and discounted a small portion of the service off. The receipt doesn't have a clear reasoning, just that I was billed for 2 separate charges. False advertising. Do not advise. Best to go with a company that has clear billing and lots of consistent good reviews.

I paid a hotel to receive a fax. without agreeing to a service, only a single $8 charge, onlinefaxservice created an account for me in secret and starting billing me $23 a month. I didnt agree ot this and was never sent an email about it either. When I realized this monthly charge and reached out to them I was told "you always had the option to cancel your subscription."
