Great experience with One Gold so far. A good way to diversify with some Gold investment in portfolio. The storage fees are acceptable and the option to exchange for actual Gold is very cool.

Easy way to get started in precious metals. Onegold made it easy to understand the spot price, spread, premiums, and storage fees when investing so I know what to expect as a novice. I contacted customer service twice. I received replies to my emails within 1 day and both minor issues were resolved in each reply. The representative I was in contact with, Aiden P., was knowledgeable and showed great customer service. The price to redeem physical assets seems to be a few dollars higher than the current buying price per ounce. For example, current buying price of silver is $32.88, and cost to redeem 1 oz. of silver is $35 to $40 depending on the product chosen. It appears the greater the weight in metal (i.e 1 oz. vs 100 oz. bar) redeemed lowers the cost a little. I consider it a cost associated with manufacturing and shipping & insurance. There is a 60 day waiting period on redeeming assets when purchasing via ach, credit, or PayPal. Prices for physical assets do seem fairly priced compared to other exchanges as well.
