I had received a one blade razor as a gift from Porter &Co for being a subscriber over a year ago. It sat on the shelf as I continued using a cartridge razor. I had heard Porter’s pitch about a “great shave” and had visited the website several times in the past but was not convinced a single blade could be better. Recently, I decided to finally give it a try. After a week or two, with each shave my face now feels as smooth as a baby’s bottom with minimal to no irritation. It takes longer. It feels like a ritual-lathering up 3 times before shaving in three different directions. But the results are great.

Still in the learning faze but doing ok. Very good quality but I was a bit surprised by how small the handle is. Doing better each shave and I'm happy with the results.

Dennis - Keep at it. It's worth it and once you get it down, you'll never look back. As to your size comment... we're pretty confident that our razor is average size and as my wife always reminds me, size doesn't matter as much as the finished product ;)
