The reception at OCVH in Lakewood is always friendly, professional and helpful. They have never made me feel uncomfortable or bothersome-even when they've been very busy with incoming/outgoing patients and phone calls. Dr. Briggs makes me feel that he cares about my pet, and takes the time to educate me on every visit I have gone to. If I had not gone to OCVH when my pet was sick, I probably would have lost him. I tried going through the Emergency department at other practices just to have consult from an exotics vet - as I couldn't get appointments - to no avail. Thankfully a friend recommended Dr. Briggs and the OCVH team. I will continue to bring my pet and any future pets I have to him.

I brought my little deer-faced Chihuahua in to OCVH in Point Pleasant for a routine exam and staff were totally awesome... They took very good care of my little girl... They were very thorough, detail oriented, and genuinely concerned for my dog's well being... I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their animals the way I love mine... Thank you for caring OCVH!

We love Dr. Danowitz. I believe your prices could be better. Otherwise we came here recently trying to save our lives from Toxic Waste in Buffalo, NY, brushed under the rug. Dr. Danowitz and staff spent the time for a through exam and answered my questions. I have been in the field for 20 years , and am very particular with my fur kiddos Veterinarian. We drove from NY, ONLY to see Dr. Danowitz.

I feel that the Vet didn't take the time required and just rushed through the exam. My dog was very agitated and rather than take a few minutes to calm the animal, they brought in a muzzle on my 17 lb "dangerous beast."

i have been a long time patron with Paco for 16 yrs and Ashley for 15 yrs and now an adopter of a rescue dog George for 4 months now. Had an emergency last night when he developed what seemed to be cherry eye. I was very afraid and they fit me in at 840pm, took me right away and was reassured that it was perfectly OK to have called and that is what they are there for, They have always called for follow ups also.

Recently had our mini golden doodle groomed. We were very pleased with the cut and how well our Bailey was treated.

My little westie had problem with lameness of her back right leg. She was seen by 2 other vets prior to coming to OCVH, with no answers or diagnosis. I then took her to OCVH and she was seen within 24hrs. Dr Danowicz saw her and took action immediately. After having xrays, I was given a diagnosis and a plan of action was put into place. He kept in touch with me over the weekend and even had an orthopedic surgeon review her films. He was so caring, and that type of response was what I needed. He has contined to follow-up on Bella and for that I am so greatful. He is the BEST!!
