Just this week brought my dog in for teeth cleaning. He’s been seen by vets there for the 3 years I’ve had him. Never once during an exam did vet say he needed teeth cleaning. I was the one who expressed my concern. Fast forward…12 teeth taken out. Cost outrageous. I expressed that I needed to pick him up close to 3 so that I could make it to work. Sat in parking lot till 5. Other then $$$ not sure they care.

I thoroughly recommend the Ocean County Veterinary Hospital! The doctors, technicians, groomer and staff members are great, caring, wonderful people.

I got charged for a office visit in which they never looked at my cat just asked what was wrong with her and I told them she had like clogs of matted fur that need to be cut off or shaved off , and they didn't do such a good job as before and my cat was in pain cause of how they shaved her, I will never let them shave her again the people were nice and all but I felt I shouldn't have been charged $69.00 for the visit

Doctor was good but very expensive and they charged me twice in a month for doctor visit when I took my cat the second time only to finish the vaccine. They charge unnecessarily and it was not fair.

Saya beralih ke Rumah Sakit Hewan Ocean County dari dokter hewan lain yang telah saya kunjungi selama beberapa tahun karena harga mereka sudah di luar kendali. Saya hanya memuji OCVH dan staf mereka. Hampir 2 tahun yang lalu kucing saya menderita kristal, setelah berulang kali mengunjungi darurat untuk penyumbatan. Saya memilih untuk operasi PU dan itu dilakukan oleh Dr. Briggs. Kucing saya pulih sepenuhnya dan telah melakukan yang terbaik sejak itu. Saya sekali lagi harus melakukan kunjungan darurat awal tahun ini ketika salah satu anjing saya merobek kedua ligamen di salah satu lututnya. Dia memerlukan operasi dan saya memilih untuk operasi TTA2, lagi dengan Dr. Briggs. Ini adalah operasi besar dengan waktu pemulihan yang lama, tapi dia melakukannya dengan sangat baik dan sekarang sudah sekitar 6 bulan dan dia tidak lagi memiliki pincang. Dia berlari dan bermain dengan saudara perempuannya dan bolanya, dan bisa naik turun tanpa masalah. Operasi tidak pernah murah, tetapi harganya jauh lebih masuk akal daripada dokter hewan saya sebelumnya. Saya telah melihat beberapa dokter di OCVH (baik di situs Lakewood dan Toms River) dan mereka semua hebat.

I arrived at the Lakewood animal hospital with our dog at the time I had written in my pocket calendar. I was informed via phone that my appt. Was for 1:20, not 12:40 which was my written time. I had appointments scheduled for doctor visit and for grooming. I was told the doctor was with a patient in an examine room. They would have the doctor or groomer call me. I waited in my car almost 40 minutes! No one called nor did anyone come out to my car. I called the desk again. I told the person that I was waiting outside for 40 minutes. The person again informed me that I had written the wrong time down, my error. I explained that I was given a time to see the vet first and then the groomer would handle the dog. When I asked what time was the vet appointment and the groomer appointment, both appointments were scheduled for the same time. Oh sorry, yes that does seem strange doesn't fit. That's the answer I got. I was already annoyed because of the wait. I was told ads soon as someone free they would come outside. I cancelled both appointments. Oh would you like to come another day!? Why. So you could screw up again. Very disappointed with this group today. I feel an apology is well deserved especially how they insisted that it was my error, when I pointed out the same time they had for 2 different appts. Oh that's odd isn't a satisfactory answer. I took a day off from work, plus they never returned my call. It was handled like careless attitude. Very poor
