Ocean County Veterinary HospitalReviews of ocvh.com

We have grown to love and trust the Vets at Ocean County Veterinary Hospital. Our little Bicho-Poo Ellie has always received the best care from the staff, techs and Vets - especially Ellie's main Vet, Dr. Danowicz Dr. Danowicz is a very loving and caring person and always makes our Ellie feel comfortable. We have every trust in the Vets at Ocean County Veterinary Hospital and highly recommend them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very caring professional service. Took me right at my appointment time. Their hours are great if you work during the day.

I had previously gone to Oakhurst Animal Hospital but the Dr that had previously seen our rabbit was no longer there and before he left, he stated that he recommends Ocean County Veterinary Hospital. Our Dr. was very informative and explained everything he was going to do and his findings. He listened to all of my concerns and never was I rushed. I will continue to drive the 45 minutes (I live in Long Branch) to have this vet take care of Max in the future.

OCCVH was very professional, sympathetic, family and pet friendly. We were very pleased with the vet and the staff. We sought there help when we were out of town with our dog. They were so good we question the value of our present vet.

OCVH and FVH have been my vets for a long time now. I like them because they are experienced professionals who can handle anything well. Their staff is helpful and pleasant, and the office is immaculate. However, the level of service they offer does come at a price. I do feel that my visits are sometimes pricier than need be, and I don't feel that they take that into account. I do wish they would consider working closer with me to help me get the most for my money.

They are so friendly and truly caring about you and your pet. The don't rush through the appointment and take the time to understand the needs of your pet, and you as the owner. They are awesome. I love them!

These Vets are best there is. Especially Dr. Laurie Pearlman. She is my Sammy's Dr. If you want a Dr. for your pet that cares as much as you do then this is the place. Every time my dogs were in medical trouble, these Drs. kept in touch with me every step of the way. Even when they had to send my dog to a specialist they were in contact daily with them and with me regarding my dog's care and how we were BOTH doing. They spent hours on the phone with me, they emailed me and they were in constant contact with the specialist as well. And when things got more expensive than I could handle, they helped me figure that part out also and helped me to sign up for Trupanion Pet Ins. and they have been remarkable. That will be the next review I do. I have never even had a Dr. for myself that put out the effort these Vets do. My favorite is Dr. Pearlman like I said but before I had Sammy I experienced other Vets here and they all went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. I have been going to OCVH, NPVH and Fisher for over 15 yrs and I will never go to another vet. They have been there for me with each dog and their care is priceless. I travel an hour from Pemberton Twp. but its worth it every time.

I brought my Brandy girl because she was losing weight. Dr. Danowitz did full blood work in her. Unfortunately, she us in kidney failure. Dr. Danowitz was off Tuesday and Wednesday. Dr. Boss called me. I was uncertain of your recommendations. She never took care of my girl. Dr. Boss is an amazing, caring, compassionate Doc. She called Dr. Danowitz and kept him abreast of everything. Dr. Danowitz I can't say enough about him. His compassion, knowledge, and patience goes beyond. Brandy's days are numbered we know. I call Dr. Danowitz and always hers on the phone or calls me right back. The love and support from him is tremendous. Your techs who took care of Brandy while she was in the hospital for a few days went beyond my expectations.
