I brought my Yorkie to this vet hospital since he was 9 weeks old. I've seen several of the vets and they are all very caring and knowledgable. He was neutered and did really well, the surgeon handled it beautifully. I would highly recommend them.

My dog, Bubba has changed to Ocean County Veterinary Hospital. The hours are very convenient and very close to our home. The office is immaculate and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I am so happy we made the change. (So is he!)

This office (Lakewood location) is very unorganized. I arranged to board my dog for a week and was quoted a price. After dropping off my dog and departing on a cruise I was called and was told a booster shot was needed or I had to pick my dog up immediately. So I said sure no problem to the shot and asked for an updated quote...was told it was already factored in because she was being boarded. Ok....so I return from vacation to pick up my dog and the cost is over $200 more than I was quoted. ($203 turned into $410). I immediately summoned for office manager Kathy and she reviewed the chart and said it was because the dog weighed more than we thought and the quote did not include the $69 office visit that needs to be charged to give the shot. WHAT???? My dog is being boarded that I am paying $$ per day for. I had spoken to 3 different girls in the office and none of rhem mentioned the weight was different and the cost went up. I received no apology from Kathy just a "well I guess they didnt completely look at the chart". Unacceptable and really do not wish to return and will not board there again.

My Puggle had a sore rear paw. I brought him to Fischer Vet. He was seen almost immediately, examined & given medication. He was healed within one week. The staff and doctor are pleasant & caring.

The doctor's at Ocean County Veterinarian Hospital are the best! They are not only clinically excellent, but they have the kind of empathy and compassion that I wish I could find in a personal physician. Dr. Danowitz, Dr. Mitchell, and Dr. Briggs are my personal favorites but the the level of quality healthcare for my pets have been second to none!

All staff, doctors, & vet techs made our experience very comfortable for both our boxer & my family & accommodated us in an emergency. They truly love what they do and love their animals. During evaluation they listen, take their time, are patient, and explain treatment plans. Quality vet. Five stars.
