Mike is a great guy who's very open to sharing his knowledge and experience. He's well intended and is genuinely interested in the artists work that he helps promote. Also he has always been very available to answer any questions. I learned a lot from the experience and I'm grateful for it.

Mike went above and beyond my expecations. Full transparency of what was pitched when and to who. I've always appreciated working with Mike & it's what's kept me coming back time and time and time again. Thanks Mike!

Mike always provides the most thoughtful and eloquent reviews. When he listens to your music, he truly “gets it” and gets to the heart of the material, revealing aspects of it that even you as the artist was not aware of.

Mike does not understand the difference between the word 'some' and 'all' apparently. He was told an accurate statement that 'Some curators would have to review 75 songs on Submithub to equal payout for feedback for 1 song on our platform' in regards to becoming a curator on our site. This statement is true. However, he is upset that he was not one of the curators who's attention deemed that 75X payout appropriate. The sign up page has a plethora of information on how the system works (including a video explanation). Mike decided that instead of reading how the system works or asking follow up questions, he now has expectation that our platform works exactly like Submithub.

This reviewer is the founder of Recordlabel.ai, and this review relates to a separate business dispute regarding his platform. He has never purchased services from or engaged Obscure Sound as a client. This review does not reflect any customer experience with my website or services, and should be flagged for removal as a result. His review is a retaliatory response to my feedback regarding his deceptive platform. For context, he initially onboarded me to his platform by stating: “Some curators would have to review 75 songs on SubmitHub to equal payout for feedback for 1 song on our platform.” His wording emphasized “feedback” as the basis for compensation and did not disclose that payment was contingent upon artist approval. That distinction formed the basis of my understanding at the time. This matter pertains solely to that separate platform and is unrelated to the services provided by Obscure Sound or the website itself.
