About Oak Park Home & Hardware

About Oak Park Home & Hardware, Inc. (OPHH.com) Oak Park Home & Hardware has been in business since 2001. We are a small business and genuinely care about helping our customers in any way possible. We are a mid-west company located within the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District in Oak Park, IL. Customers are our top priority and we aim to make your shopping experience an enjoyable one! Offering Many Quality Products Made in USA Oak Park Home & Hardware began with the goal of offering products made in USA by either an individual Craftsman or small manufacturer. Over the years, it has become quite challenging to offer products exclusively made in USA and over time, have incorporated some quality products made overseas into our product mix. More Than Just A Home Store Oak Park Home & Hardware specializes in interior and exterior lighting, hardware, and home accessories. Many of our items are made to order and available in many finish and/or glass options. For this reason, we do everything possible to assist in our customer’s selection process. This may require multiple phone conversations, email conversations, and Photoshop renditions. This is, in part, what separates us from our competition and our customers find much value in this effort (and so do we).Shipping PolicyOur online shipping costs are for shipping within the 48 contiguous States. We do ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Internationally. These shipping costs are typically our actual shipping cost without any mark-up.Your privacy and order information remains private and secure. We do not share customer information with any other businesses or third party.

Very high quality products, not cheap knockoffs
I ordered some custom made hardware and it came sooner than expected. I had to exchange something I ordered in the wrong size. No problem and nice folks to deal with.

Ordered 2 items
Ordered 2 items, a Legacy oak frame and a house number/address sign. Sign is great. Frame also is beautiful but too large and will be returned. When I called the company re: return representative very responsive and helpful. However I did not receive responses to my emails even though I was told they were sent. Must call again tomorrow to resolve problem of return in person. Products and workmanship are excellent. Would use again and would recommend to others.
Response from Oak Park Home & HardwareSep 19, 2018
Georgia: Sorry you are not receiving our emails. Please be advised that we are sending all replies to your emails including instructions for returning the frame. Unfortunately, our emails do frequently go directly to our customer's spam folder and/or junk email folders. We cannot control this as it has to do with either your email security settings or your isp. This is especially true with comcast.net email addresses such as yours. Our last response to you was 9/17 at 3 pm (EST) with instructions for returning the frame. Also, email notices were sent to you with shipping alerts on 9/4, 9/13, and 9/14.

Amazon can’t compete with this selection
Oak park has a wonderful selection for people who are looking for good quality items for a craftsman or mission style home. Every once in a while they run low on merchandise but they always let you know if there’s going to be a delay. I just got some beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright inspired pillows and placemats and everyone who comes into the room notices them ! The Oak Park personnel are wonderful are wonderful.

Beautiful light boxes
Beautiful light boxes that add just the warm prairie mission glow to my room that I had hoped for. A tad expensive, but I received them quickly, and they seem very well made

Perfect for my Craftsman Bungalow
These house numbers are perfect for my 1906 Craftsman Bungalow! Also they are priced really well compared to other numbers I looked at. However their low price wasn’t the reason I got them, the design was the reason and the low price was just a bonus :)

I have been online shopping with Oak Park Home & Hardware for some years and the long distance to Australia means time differences but Joseph is always prompt in replies and telephone conversations are pleasant
