Have a pair of them great for…
Have a pair of them great for ballistics but problem is the screw on the left hinge constantly comes loose. Thought it was just mine, apparently it’s a issue other people I know with these pair have had as well.

Absolutely fantastic deals but lacking in customer service follow through
I would give them five if they would follow through with any of the customer service issues I’ve had but I keep getting the running around

I don't know who works in the R&D…
I don't know who works in the R&D department, but someone needs to have a talk with them. Who sits there and goes, "do you know what I bet these soldiers would love on their undershirts, the most uncomfortable and scratchiest material I can find. I bet that will make them super happy". The black strip of whatever that is on the inside collar needs to be removed asap. I already put a hole in a shirt trying to get that monstrosity off. Other than that, this site rocks!!

Weak design
Weak design. They look great. They fall apart and Oakley wants you to buy a new part. The lenses are held in by a fishing line. Any distortion in the frame and out pops the lens. Do not buy this for any duty or field use.

SI is great but check your order details
The offeres on SI are great and ordering what I wanted was very easy. From my experience, my only issue was when I chose my sunglasses I selected "Prizm Polorized" from the drop down menu but I didn't receive what I chose. I really love polarized sunglasses so I was pretty bummed out when I opened my mail.

Quality and Customer service is slipping!
I don't know what has happened to Oakley products. I have used them since the early 90s and have had nothing but great experiences. Even back then the customer service for warrant issues, etc. was amazing. That seem to have changed dramatically over the last 2-3 years. The quality of the product has declined as well. I understand that this is a subjective view but the lense clarity from a pair I have from 2010 to the pair I just received is dramatically different. The build quality of the frame and arm connection has declined enough where I've had two pair have the arm fall off. I assure you that there has been no abuse to the last two pair. Come on Oakley!! What happened? I don't want to have to change brands to something unknown.

Diminished quality
I recently lost my Holbrooks that I had for a few years, so I ordered the same ones. Had I not bought them directly from Oakley, I would have sent them back thinking they were fake. They feel cheap. The plastic feels almost hollow now. I love the Jade Fade series so I am keeping them, but I can definitely feel the difference in quality.

Oily stems
Had them a few years and the stems are now oily. Tried everything to clean them but it comes right back. I would like to replace them with a new pair but has this issue been fixed?
