Recently bought and broken in the Oakley Gen III. The boots are super think almost like winters and do not breath. Overall the boots are uncomfortable to wear in general especially in a warmer climate.

The upper part of the boot doesn’t move the right way with your leg, the movement is off. Just stick with the elite assault boot.

I'm rough on shoes apparently, I ordered the dry shoes and just after 4 weeks I've worn a hole all the way through the soles to the socks. Then I went a little more rugged and ordered the meridian boots. I thought they looked cool with the white oakley writing on the straps the red on the tab of the straps the white oakley emblem and the subtle stripes down the toung except that's not what was sent to me. If you click on that image to order it like I did, I didn't realize under the color description it says black out and doesn't give any other choices and I was sent all black pair. You can't even tell they are oakley unless you look very closely also the picture makes the meridian boots look like an ankle high boot but they are actually more like a mid high boot. They are rugged and have held up so far but my shoe experience with oakley is at 0 for 2

Used before and it was great. Just this time I never got my order due to a bad address on file and not being prompted to change (my bad. I’ll take accountability). But I noticed the mistake immediately and called and it was said to have been fixed. Still no glasses

I would love to be leaving a good review as I have been a fairly loyal customer and appreciate the free membership to Oakley’s SI. However, for this particular experience, I have been disappointed by the performance and durability of the Elite Assault Boot and was left very confused by customer service seemingly not knowing what their own warranty policy is. To start with the boots, the material used as eyelets immediately began to degrade and tear on both left and right boots. The Cordura suede/leather where the vent holes are ripped within the first few months of wearing them. The terrain they were used on was not all that austere either. Mostly dirt roads with some small rounded rocks. When I brought my issues up to customer service via email I was told several different things about the warranty. I was told there was a 30-day warranty and then a 100-day warranty. I had also received a email stating there was a 1-year warranty on boots. Then it went back to 100-day warranty where I was given a discount code and was asked to ignore the one year warranty. Because I am deployed, the boots were shipped to my home where my wife had to forward them to me. By the time I brought up the issue with Oakley, I was at roughly 140 days even though the boots had spent roughly a month in the mail, so yes, I was definitely outside the warranty window. To be told the boots weren’t under warranty, to they are under warranty, and then back again was the irritating part. This was the first time I had purchased boots from Oakley, and I used the discount code they provided to purchase the Light Assault Boot, which appears to at least have metal eyelets for the boot laces. I have to admit my skepticism as to whether they will hold up though based on this experience. If they do perform well, I would gladly leave a 5-star review.

Just to give buyers a heads up: this is a nice, light, appealing frame, but the rubber on the nose of the frame rubbed my skin and literally 'stuck' to it in a way that was extremely uncomfortable (to say the least). The paradox is that they also fell off very easily when bending down or blowing my nose. I think in this case it's an issue with the kind of rubber / plastic they use. Your skin might be less sensitive than mine but just wanted to make potential buyers aware.

Enduro 3.0 Big Backpack - Looks good, but poor quality. Zipper detached entirely after only a few weeks. Then after a few more weeks, the nylon top handle ripped off. Reading the reviews, these seem to be common issues with the bag. The warranty is useless, as I can't use the required shipping label because was deployed. They're eager to market and sell to military, but that's where the support ends. Oakley/Luxotica makes great sunglasses, but everything else is pretty shoddy.

These boots are definitely not what I expected. The quality is that of a sweat shop in a third world country. The leather is thin without any lining. The boots are not as comfortable as I expected. They are lightweight but really don’t expect them to last.
