Dont buy oakleys they dont stand behind their products. I have purchased 5 pairs of…
I have purchased 5 pairs of prescription glasses from oakley 900 dollars a pair. One set has an issue with the lenses where they are delaminating (the layers are seperating). The lenses are perfect, not a single scratch, NO chemicals used on them. Their warranty does not cover prescription lenses for material defects. Im pretty positive it does not cost them more than 50-100 dollars for them to make a set of lenses. Various sites say they will last a lifetime. They dont stand behind their products. I thought i was paying a lot for a quality pair of glasses from a company that takes care of their customers. Ohh i am a veteran as well…. Buy something cheap if you can and make sure its not made my luxottica… they own oakley.

Can’t ship to military, terrible customer service
Ordered twice to military addresses. The items never shipped, though they show complete online. Six emails to Oakley SI ended only with form responses (Joey, Cortney, Dana), to which they ultimately stopped responding. I had to call six times to figure out how to get a human. Finally (and 43 days after my first order), they tell me shipments to military addresses aren’t working and they can’t figure out why. Despite all of my emails over the past month+, someone could have just told me my orders would never come. In fact, they told me to order again only when I reached out - then again it never shipped. I never received any emails canceling the orders, announcing refunds, or indicating there was any problem. Total failure of customer service.

One star is too much
One star is too much! I've purchased several pairs of pants and t-shirts for my son and husband but this last order also had 2 cute waffle skull caps. When they arrived we were surprised to see that they are sized for a child and not a grown man. Weird, but OK, I'm happy to return. BUT THEY WON'T TAKE RETURNS, THEY JUST DICK YOU AROUND ON THE INTERNET, THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO POST A NOREPLY EMAIL ADDRESS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE......IT'S LITERALLY NOREPLY....
THIS IS NOT HOW A PROPER BUSINESS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THE WORST!!!! I DON'T CARE THAT MY MEN LIKE THIER STUFF WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM STANDARD ISSUE AGAIN. SAME GOES FOR OAKLEY SINCE THAT'S THE PARENT CO

Was excited for the discount, but they failed to deliver. Customer service was subpar as well.
Ordered eyeglasses from the OSI website. Was delayed getting updates about production. Reached out and they miraculously showed a shipping status with tracking the next day. Except when you click on the link they supplied, it showed the item did not exist. Gave it a few more business days to see if the shipping details would update, but still the same result. Could never get a straight answer from their customer service department about my eyeglasses.

Need more apparel
I saw an item I really like on Oakley.com but it's not on Oakley SI. The brand Oakley has lost their value in customer services when it comes to veterans and first responders. Oakley SI doesn't carry the same quantity and quality styles on apparel as Oakley.com. Oakley SI is lacking sizes and color options, as well as certain styles in apparel and glasses.

Should be called Jokely SI
I'm not wealthy. I saved for over a year to buy Monohull prescriptions. I purchased them 8/22. 3 weeks ago was walking home from work and I felt my glasses shift on my face. I couldnt get them to sit on my nose correctly. I took them off to see what was wrong. The right side nose guard arm was gone. I searched the area for the missing piece and couldnt find it in the grass. I filled out a warranty/repair request with pics of my glasses. I was refused service without a reasonable answer. But offered a discount on a replacement. Owning Oakleys has always been something I dreamed of. And when I heard about Oakley SI, I was happy they valued us servicemen. And what an awesome way to show it. Only to find out a little over a year later it was BS. They care about the money. I have never been more disappointed in a company than I am now. I hope every service member reads my experience before they throw money at company like Oakley. What a Joke
11/7/2023 So, as you can see Oakley tried to save face and they responded to my review. Again, as I said before, the pair I received was flawed. The nose guard arm just fell off. From normal wear. And again, Oakley refused to fix or replace. But this time it gets even more ridiculous. I am going to quote the response. "Response By Email (Jason S) (11/07/2023 12:02 PM)
Hello Steven,
Thank you for contacting Oakley.
I am very sorry about your glasses. Unfortunately, damage like the one you have is not covered under the warranty program. However, I do want to offer a bigger discount for a new frame for you. Please use the below code on www oakley com for 50% off a future purchase.
Code: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
Expiration: 12/31/2024
If you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know.
Again, thank you for contacting Oakley. Have a great day!
Best Regards,
Jason S

Sounds like a nice gesture, right? Wrong. Oakley offers 50% off on broken frame purchases to anyone. Jason, I hope you're embarrassed by that lame attempt to make yourself appear to come to the rescue. You didn't offer me anything I couldn't have got on my own. The only way you can make this right now is a new pair with my script, transitions and progressives. Just like the original pair I bought. For free. Or 80% off. And one more question. I bought mine from Oakley SI. You told me 50% off at oakley.com. Thats because Oakley SI doesnt have the 50% off broken frames deal, isn't it? Why make me buy new glasses from a different site? That's not cool either.
Oakley responded again. Here is their response:

Hello Steven,
Thank you for the additional information about your survey response and experience with Luxottica Aftersales and Oakley. Your feedback is valuable in identifying opportunities for improvement as we strive to deliver the best possible customer experience.
We are sorry to hear that Service Request xxxxxxxx was deemed out of warranty and you are unhappy with the 50% off promotion that was provided previously. Regrettably, the damage that has occurred with your frame is not covered under warranty. As a one time courtesy we have processed a manual order for a new frame, Order xxxxxxxxx. Unfortunately, you will not receive order confirmation or tracking once it ships as it was manually placed. We kindly ask that you reply back to this email in 5 business days should you want tracking information, it should be available to provide to you at that time. Please allow up to 14 business days for delivery.
We apologize for not meeting the level of service expected and hope we have satisfactorily addressed your concerns.
Best Regards,
Christina B.
