The Quick CleanersReviews of oakdalemovingandstorage.com

Not sure about the negative reviews because it was a smooth and pleasant experience that I had with Oakdale moving and storage. Jacob was extremely helpful and took the time to answer all of my questions. The movers were prompt, courteous, and very careful. Price wise it was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them for all my moving needs!

helped me move from deerfield to jupiter and honestly made it so easy. definitely recommend

Best company out there! Jacob was so helpful, polite, kind, and charming! Id give 10 stars if I could.

Please save your time and money. This is simply not worth it . Their moving quotes will initially appear lower however this is a broker company and they will outsource your move to a third party . Your move will depend on how good the third party maybe but you won’t have an opportunity to know this till they are on site and you get to find out who they are . You won’t know the name of the third party until the move either . They will state vague time periods for your delivery like 3-4 days or 5-7 days but these are arbitrary and you won’t get an exact date and time until what I assume would be the day before . It’s difficult to take time off work with a short notice to receive delivery if you happen to have a job that requires more of your time or an advanced notice for a day off . I honestly wish I did more research before I chose them for my move . I do regret it . Also the on-site movers will always have a different quote than initial price - “ if your belongings require more than a certain cubic footage for storage” which based on prior reviews it always does. Brittany dial (customer service supervisor) in particular is unhelpful and can be quite rude . It wasn’t surprising to see that many people pointed her out in prior reviews but I’m only learning all this after the fact and while going through a bad experience . Please save your time and money and do not be tempted to work with them for your move . I cannot emphasize more that this is not worth it . I’m still praying that my belongings do arrive at some point and that I get 24 hour notice if at that before they arrive even though I specifically requested for more of a heads up to make arrangements over several emails and calls.

Wouldn’t recommend.

Brittany (manager) was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. I received a text message Sunday evening stating that my move was set for the following Friday. I called Monday morning requesting to move the date. I was told that I had to pay a $400 fine to do so, despite their policy being that they require 5 business days to change a date (Sunday evening is not a business day, despite their company claiming so). I cancelled my trip with them and lost my deposit. It was a tough decision. I would not recommend anyone work with this company -- work with a company that wants to work with you versus trying to charge you additional bogus fees.

I was nervous because I had heard terrible things about the moving business but these guys seem to handle it very differently. My representative Jenn was with me through the entire experience, I could always text or call her to ask questions, from booking to delivery. We moved from Colorado to Florida and had a really great experience. I think the difference may be that we were upfront with our inventory and don’t leave anything out to try and sneak it in for a lower price, so we didn’t see any price increases as some other did that left reviews. If you are looking for a great family owned moving company that will give you good service at a good price then you have come to the right place. My mother will be using them on her next move.

Oakdale is the best! They did our move for us and also gave the best rate. They were super fast and helpful Would definitely recommend for anyone moving!
